This question is for those familiar with behind-the-scenes on this forum.

Yesterday and today I have clicked "like this post". Mostly my name just appears in the list. A couple of times I got the message "already liked this". OK, yesterday I was tired, maybe I did see a particular post and liked it, and just didn't realize I clicked twice.
Today one "like" posted my name in the list, then I got an "already liked this". Both were in the same thread.
The second one was the limerick by Irequim in "Mystery Shopping not worth the trouble". I KNOW I didn't see, and like that one. I liked it very much, and would have remembered it.

Anyone have any clue why the "already liked this"?

Sometimes if I accidentally "stutter" when I'm trying to click "like" my mouse double-clicks and I don't even realize it until I get the "you already liked this" message.

I don't know why this happens, but it happens to me very now and then as well.

When this happens to me I just say "Okay" and move on

Yes, it happened to me as well, about a couple of times. At first I was puzzled but just like the supposedly duplicate posting I kept on getting when I clicked reply, I think there is a glitch in the system.

Ok, this time I did not get that 'duplicate message' after I clicked 'reply.' It must have corrected itself.
