Could I Have a Moderator PM On Deleted Thread?

Hey, Moderation Team

Saw that a thread of mine was deleted. Was just wondering if you could PM me with details on what happened (as I couldn't enter the thread anymore and didn't see a note)? Thanks!

Much thanks to the moderator who deleted it. The thread immediately devolved into insults from the OP toward posters who asked questions. It did not add a positive contribution to the community. I was pleased to see it removed so quickly.
Which thread is at issue, please? I am NOT a mod, but would like to know the topic.

I did see that you commented in the thread in my "updates" highlights. But, by the time I clicked on it, your comments and the thread itself were gone.

a.) The "insults" were toward a poster (whose last time posting on this forum months ago resulted in multiple posts toward me being deleted by Moderators as inappropriate - you can check, nslinhar's, post history - and whose first post back was to mess with me), who in that thread asked a question in a purposely disrespectful tone (even saying offense toward me was intended). It might not "sound" that way, but if you know nslinhar's history (I can post comments from the past here) toward me, then you'd know the context.

b.) You have a history of hypocritical complaints against me, but not reporting people doing the same (esp., toward me).

Did you ask for the Five Guys thread in which you seemed to encourage and approve of mocking me to be shut down? No. I realized you were part of it when I reread it.

Did you ask for Irene's debate about Trump and immigration to be removed (because it was political) in the Mystery Shopping Forum section? No. But, you jumped in to encourage others to report/remove a political thread I started (which I don't mind - rather I mind the inconsistency) that was posted in the General Chat section.

Do you equally criticize others for similar behaviors and would you? No. You have never publicly asked for Irene's, for example, comments implying I had a third grade intelligence to be deleted or critiqued others for coming after me in the past. I like Irene and have no issues with her, so this is not about her, but rather your hypocrisy in selectively jumping into situations involving me and being strongly vocal about them, but showing no concern in other cases.

I cannot stop you from continuing that selectivity (even though I feel it hurts inside and is unfair), nor ask for Moderation punishment of this behavior. I would just ask that you stop and think about it and maybe not critique me (esp., if context is not understood). One of the worst feelings in the world is when someone you KNOW is biased against you and never engages with you positively suddenly jumps in whenever there is an issue to vocally champion moderation against you.

I don't mind someone who has been fair with me in the past criticizing me. I mind when it's done by someone who has not been.

I cannot link to it, unfortunately, because it's been deleted.

I think I called it something like: "Let's All Become Thousandaires, Millionaires, and Billionaires ($$ Saving & $$ Growing Motivation Thread)."

I saw that a poster in the coronavirus thread in General Chat had complained about going "off-topic" and into the stock market in the thread. Since I was one of those who did that and had a previous thread on personal finance previously closed, I thought I'd start a new one:

a.) To avoid going away from the intended topic of the coronavirus thread.
b.) Because it's good to have an educational personal finance thread. Prior to the personal argument that took place at the end of that thread, it was an useful ongoing motivational/educational discussion.

I'm happy to address my comments to nslinhar here.

If this is petty, I'll take the blame. But, it was "poster" (singular - not plural). I just didn't want someone reading this thread who had not read the original to think I was "insulting" multiple people asking questions. I only admonished, nslinhar, who I know was trolling/being purposely confrontational and admitted to it in the thread.

Why don't you just PM the Moderator account? You would probably get a faster response than relying on them to read this thread.

It's time to let it go. You don't have to forget but you dang sure should forgive. If I harbored grudges the way that some people do and continuously harped on the past posts in this forum...well I wouldn't stick around, that's for sure. Half of what you feel insulted about was just people kidding around, anyway, and there was no intended malice, just your perception. So, either get over it and move past it or just find another place to have a pity party. I am tired of it and I will just toggle if this continues. Enough of the drama, okay?

I had not planned to respond again, because what the OP wants is attention, not the Mod's attention, but public attention, that's the reason for posting publicly instead of PMing the mod account. HOWEVER, the statement "nslinhar, who I know was trolling/being purposely confrontational and admitted to it in the thread" is a flat-out lie. Either the OP thinks no one can prove she is lying since the thread is deleted, or, even more disturbing, she actually believes it happened. I DID read the thread. In fact, I made the last post before the thread was deleted, and nslinhar did not admit to trolling the OP in the thread. I say this because it is sad enough for everyone to have to read the OP's false perceptions, but it would be unfair to allow other who did not read the post to believe a complete lie about another poster.
This a reincarnated thread which is drawing fire and derisive posts. Therefore it is being closed by the Moderator.
Sorry, you can't reply to this topic. It has been closed.
