I completely agree with you and recently ranted about a $$$ online purchase shop which required many steps, along with the usual threats about non-payment, that I had to remove myself from the schedule after learning the details.

CORI is one example. You have to pass a test before you can even see the pay amount. Once I spent 45 minutes on a test, only to find out the pay was $3 !!!!
I've learned to assume that any new shop on the CoRI board is going to start somewhere between $2 and $4. I often use some down time to take some of the traing just to be ready for the increases which we all know will come later. The upside with them is that you know everything possible about a job before taking it, unlike whoever the OP was talking about. It was several months ago I tested for their furniture shops and it has just now paid off. Apparently rotation has gotten rid of all those shoppers who would take them at $5 leaving those increased commissions for me

I had never joined Cori (due to reading about low fees), however, I just joined to feel like I now needed a Masters degree....test after test, and then after time spent the job is $3.00 to 5.00...ugh! Morally, I can't do that, even if it's next door. How do you guys work for that little. Do you get higher fees after having been with them a while? The tests drove me crazy.

Irene, when the jobs are not taken the fees go up. There are fee increases daily although not for every single client. It seems each client gets bumped every 3rd day or so in the beginning and then faster when it closes in on the due date. Depending on how desperate (and/or silly) shoppers are in your area they will increase. Close to home $3 to $4 shops get up to $15 to $20. When I'm willing to drive farther lots get into the $40 to $50 range. In other words, I never, ever, ever take jobs at those original fees!

This is the only way to work for CoRI. They're an outstanding company, but don't let the low initial fees turn you off.

What I love about CORI. Payments by direct deposit the following Friday. They pay like clock work. And even when I mess up and forget to include a picture and they have to ask about it, I still get perfect score when they rate me. There tests are hard, but their reports are super easy.
In looking over last 5 shops, all had been bonused to over 15 plus the reimbursement. Had a bonus in July to $48 for a shop I know is easy to due because it is a small station and generally immaculate.
Ended up getting two pair of jeans for daughter just before she left for college from a trendy teen focused store. The jeans were BOGO when we walked in reimbursement was $15 and pay was $25. After factoring all that in, two pair of jeans cost me $6.00 and report was done in about 7 minutes. Can't go wrong with that.

For some reason, in my area, someone keeps accepting the $3 shops. It is pissing me off! Who are these people, and why do they think a $3 is worth doing? Even if I'm already in the area, $3 isn't worth my time.
@Phoebe - its probably a newbie. I know I took those "bleep" jobs when I first started out. I figured if I messed up it was only a small amount and wouldn't hurt me too hard. I'd rather screw up and not get paid for a 3.00 job then screw up and blow a 20.00+ job!
OK can we get back to the point. Give me all the important details so that I can make an informed decision be fore I accept a shp?
