So I see this morning a non-sterile area access shop for my airport. Considering I've been watching sterile area (beyond security) shops sitting on the board since I joined I thought to myself "FINALLY!". So, I hit the button and it takes me to the 7 or 8 point checklist where you answer yes or no to some simple questions. The very first question? "Do you have access beyond the security area of this airport?" I dutifully answer "No", complete the other questions and submit.
Judges? BUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I'm now excluded from shops of this type for some period of time which I forgot to read because I was in full WTF mode. They post a non-sterile area shop ("pre-security", posted right in the location field), ask if I can go beyond security and when I say no whammo, oh you can't have that shop, logic that would make a computer asplode.
Sent an email to them asking for the shop, we'll see what happens. Next time I think I'll just answer in the affirmative, make sure the notes specify that it's pre-security and move on, zero points for me for answering truthfully.
