VIDEO SHOPS: Are movie theaters done????

Totally new to video shops and wondered if any movie theaters are video shopped possibly.

If yes, which msc's do them please????

That I don't know. I would think they'd have to have special permission from the copyright holders given the fact it's illegal to record movies in the theater.

I did a dentist office video shop yesterday. Got a great exam and thorough cleaning, plus earned some money. Can't beat that. smiling smiley

I would hope you would have a letter explaining your activities if confronted. Theaters are especially alert about unauthorized video because of piracy. A couple of theaters I'm acquainted with through merchandising have told me stories about having someone arrested for illegal videotaping.

I know some movie theaters are shopped but not any that are video shopped. MarketForce used to do them years ago. Another MSP has them but due to unscrupulous connections, I can't in good faith offer up that information.

UR worried about good faith? ........a MSC and a client item in the same sentence.

Videos/Cameras come in all different sizes, That is how the bootlegger gets there movies. Undercover agents in the realm of movies goers, I would not want to get caught video shopping at a movies theatre. I prefer doing it at a grocery shore or audit shops.

I do not think that AlwaysAngie names the client; she names the industry, which is entirely acceptable. For instance, we can talk openly about who shops hotels, but not about who shops Hilton.

Service Sleuths does movie theatre shops, but they're not video shops. You just have to evaluate the concession stand, cleanliness, attitiude of employees, report the # of people in the theatre, etc. It's a pretty good deal because they include popcorn!!! But you have to wait 3 months for payment.
