Anyone know how to start a new mystery shopping business

I am really interested in starting my own company, but I have no idea how to start it. Also, Im just wondering if anyone decided to start their own business after doing mystery shopping for a while. I have noticed that many of you still shop with companies..Is there any particular reason why??
Im just gathering information at the moment, and would like to know if its really worth it?
Please don't bash me if I asked a question that seems ignorant or lame.. smiling smiley

However, if you go to Amazon.Com and do a search under “mystery shopping”, you will find a nice offering of Mystery Shopping books . . . and some contain information about starting your own msc.

Yet member Flash makes a good point about what they said (if you read their post), where they basically say, in order to have a successful msc, you must have excellent salesmanship and you must make yourself an indispensable item to your clients.

In answer to the question of why we mystery shop for other companies, the people who post here are, in general, not MSC owners. You will find an occasional response on a thread about a specific company, but this is a networking site for shoppers.
