Meijer grocery shops

Has anyone seen any. I think that these are limited to OH MI, but seem to be gone from the usual MSC. I have been doing these for years and like the store. Oh so sad.

They were available with the same MSC as of yesterday in KY.

I checked the website they are on nothing but Costco which are taken.

Which Meijer shops are you talking about?

Plbell, I think you might be thinking of the shops that are really shopping the sample tables. In my area, those are shopped by the same MSC that does the same thing in Costco.

I am in Illinois and got an offer for a couple of the department shops yesterday. I usually get offers a couple of times a month for the different department shops. I have also done the sample table shops but haven't seen those for awhile.

cynb There is a rotation on them but they are still there not as many as before though...

Good info. I am hoping. The dept shops and the demo shops are 2 different MSCs.

Cynb...I have 16 this week starting tomorrow, over 4 stores but 4 individual depts each..... I am new since November so I am not sure what MSC does or used to do them but I can't mention names can I???

Oh so jealous. Could you give me a clue of some sort?

Waiting patiently for clue, too. lol I shop at Meijer anyway because they have the best produce in town. And I can do that in an electric cart.

Apparently same MSC. Cutting back or something. Let me know what you hear from them. So glad that you are getting around. Keep moving, as you know very important.

The same MSC that has had them, still has them here. They are scheduling them differently though, at least in my area. They used to send an email announcing them were there and then you could go to the site to accept them.

Now the scheduler sends out an email with a list of around 20-30 assignments. They are usually either not due for close to a month OR due by the next day. The assignments do not show in the list of offered assignments so you have to accept them via email.

I seem to get them both ways - I get them via the email/go to the website for ones that are further out date wise and then when the week is right there if they haven't been accepted I get the email with the long list that includes the whole state.

They sure do have a great produce area and I Can Cee why it is hard to make a Decision about the Snow on the ground......

Hey Cindy, it's Cindy. Thanks a lot. Yeah it is the same co. They do not have any thing here right now. I do love the store and the MSC.
Amusing story: I signed up for one of their high end purse shops which are P/R, which I have done many times. I went to the store and was greeted by a manager who told me last time something like good to see you again, I know you shop here often. When I saw her as I entered the store on Sun I knew I could not do a return there comfortably. So I e=mailed the scheduler w. the infor and she said that the return was not a necessary part of the shop , always had been. and did I make a purchase? I replied that sorry, but I did not need any thing from the purse store this week.LOL I fully understand that she was just tryin to get the shop in It usually stays available for a long time.

I hate those P/Rs. There are two stores I used to do them at.

One is an outlet mall and it was always so busy. You could return for the return in 30 minutes on the dot and no one would remember you were just there. I didn't mind them there.

But at the other mall, they get maybe 10 customers a day. They always remembered. I stopped doing them there.
