Can You Ask For Higher Shop Fee For Shop With Further Distance?

I see a number of shops in a nearby city, that I know I can complete easily. They're a pretty far distance apart,do you guys think I can contact some of these companies to negotiate a higher shop fee so I can complete them?

Give it a try. No sense in losing money to shop.

Especially if they stay on the board long. It's the 18th of the month and they may want to see them gone soon and give you a little more. Couldn't hoit!

You certainly bettersmiling smiley As an MS you are officially your own small business responsible for making some money and paying some taxes. If you want to do charity work may I suggest the Humane Society. Profit making MSCs are not as deservingsmiling smiley

I negotiate whenever I can!
Of course, I'm not always successful...
but it never hurts to try.

I wouldn't try this with some of the companies I'm with. Simply because there IS no scheduler relationship. All business. All the time. But those are $22 and $30 shops anyway.

" I think there's a nap for that."
You are an independent contractor. Set your price and ask them if they can do better. In my opinion, we become more valuable as shoppers, the more shops we do and the more reports. Doing multiple locations for the same MSP client at least they can both rest assured that there is some consistancy (although sometimes, I must admit, my expectations have been lowered for subsequent shops, based on previous shop experience).
