With all due respect, I'm not "waiting in line" for a $4 shop. The shops pay $9 because I shop at Aldi anyway. I take them when I see them, but I NEVER "wait" for them.

The shops are very easy, much easier than the Kroger shops that I used to do for another MSC.

If I'm happy to get $9 off my grocery bill, why is that perplexing to you? Or did I misunderstand the "!?!?!" ?
Reports are time consuming for the pay. They're not difficult. In my area, they're infrequently bonused.
What a lot of people don't know is Aldi's is owned by the largest supermarket chain in Germany and the second largest in all of Europe. It is Alfred' and Deitrich's and ther ome office is in Batavia, IL. I go there quite alot and I buy Extra Ground beef, Milk, Cottage Cheese, Brats, Frozen Buffalo Chicken, Soup ( made by Campbell's), Paper Towels, Canned Vegetables and everything I buy is very good.
I'm there at least once a week anyway, so heck yes I will do the shop for $4 fee/$5 reimbursement. I don't count time spent in the store since I would be there anyway, and the report takes 30 minutes tops.
Canadamommy makes a great point! Other thread such as, "Who would ever do these low paying shops?!?!" and get all kinds of negative comments, and then here is this thread with a "low paying shop" and everyone is singing it's praises.

It is the reason that I say we all do this for different reasons.
And since they changed the form this year it is much much faster to complete the form. No more repetitive questions.

I got a fantastic bonus for doing one! 10 times the shop feesmiling smiley

It's worth it if:

A) It's not that far away

cool smiley You like different items, which deliver there each week..

C) You aren't trying to get rich because this is a no BIG pay shop....

The newer form is so much better. I used to spend 45 minutes and decided to never do another shop. Someone told me about the newer form and I'm back to doing them again.

The bagels are great much larger than shoprite bagels. The lactos free milk is cheaper than Lactaid.
For those of you who are saying this is a low paying shop. If you are there shopping already, which I am all the time, there is NO gas/mileage. I take the shop as a $9.00 discount on my shopping. I always spend more than both the reimbursement and fee - I do my normal shopping. I consider this a high paying shop (for me), since the report takes about 10-15 minutes. That equates to $36.00/hour.

If I didn't shop there or if it was out of the way, I would not take them unless they were bonused.
I agree with you, spaztck. If you're there anyway, spending your money, it's a good deal.
