Now for the good news

On a board like this we hear some good news and some bad news. More often people will talk about the bad and expect the good. I was over paid by a MSC. I emailed them about the overpayment. I did not hear back from them for a bit so I called them. We discussed the situation on the phone. The company thanked me for being honest about the situation and told me I could keep the extra payment. Now we are not talking a huge amount of money but with times being tough it will pay for around 1/3 of a tank of gas. It made me very happy and I really appreciated their generousity.

I'm not naming the company publicly but I just want everyone to know there are some good stories to go along with the bad.

I'm sorry I meant for this thread to be put in the general mystery shopping discussion area not the company section. If a moderator could move this thread i would appreciate it.

Congrats but why won't you name the company publicly? Why not give the company some positive press?

Hi BBBBB. I thought about that when making this thread but I chose not to for a few reasons. Among my reasons were I did not tell the company I would be mentioning it. I do not want the company to be held to that standard in the future just because of their kindness to me in this one instance.
