I Want the big stores.

I just started mystery shopping this month. There must not be many mystery shoppers where I live. But I want to know what companies do jcpenney's, kmart, walmart, academy, target, dillards, the dollar stores, walgreens, cvs, and winn dixies. This is the stuff located closest to me. I have already done some banks and fast food, but I am looking to do the bigger stores.

I realize you can tell me specific companies clients, but I don't see why you cannot just suggest websites that are not in the MSPA. You are not breaking rules suggesting websites. I will go on them and see for myself, thanks

A website that is not listed that I have done alot of shops for is MSI

most of what you are asking for is not shopped in and of themselves.

My mother-in-law says she gets emails to shop jcpenney and sears. But she is really old and full of $%#@ so I don't know it that is true........THanks for the response.

The stores may not be shopped or they may have an in-house mystery shopping program. It is not just retailers that order shops. Vendors will order shops for their products. Then the mystery shopping company is sending shoppers into various retail outlets, but they are always looking for sales interactions on a specific product.

one of those companies is done but not in a traditional way. After you are invited to be a premiere shopper, they offer mystery shops, but you dont get paid. You get points. Earn enough points you get free stuff. I don't even waste my time.

MSI is also known as Trendsource. If that's who you are referring to, they are in our Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies.

One is shopped by one of the really big MSPs. Another was shopped when I first started. A few others I have seen requests to go into the store, but it isn't to shop the store itself, but rather by a some other company to see if their product is being displayed or what associates are saying about it.

the trick is not to shop a few big stores, but to shop a high quantity of small stores within vast chains. basically, if the store chain has a location in every local city, even if the stores themselves are small.

Kiasardan, Why do you want the big stores? Is it only because they are close to you? In my experience, the bigger the corporation, the more detailed the report. - And often at the lowest pay. And there are likely to be fewer in each locale for you to shop. There are many times more convenience stores than major department stores in any town. Be careful what you wish for!

The other thing with some of the big stores is that for the same price as many of the small locations, you now need to detail the interaction with 5 or 6 employees rather than 1 or 2 at a smaller store.
