I am told by my scheduler and the help desk that I have to do it. Now that I hear your take I will check this out again.

Dont forget my peanut trick ( peanuts in the bottom of the bag, tray of fries on top).

I have done several and I have to say almost all the stores are so well run it's hard to write anything negative. Make sure you look at the lights in the ceiling to see if they all are working.

No fee, no shop.

Nope. I was eliminated from ALL locations after I done too many overall. I miss the fries and burger. They are sooo good! The Cajun seasoning is amazing. That's good they eliminated the ceiling tile question. Are they still checking for chair legs and baseboards? I don't mind standing at the counter watching them cook at all. Easy shop!

The reports no longer ask about grime on table legs. smiling smiley On a side note, try not to cancel these particular shops, they are concerned "deadline" shops and if you cancel so many, you'll be banned for at least six months! It happened to me a couple years ago, and I was never so happy to get my shops back!

That is the best advice Ive read in this thread by far. Figured out that trick myself about the 3rd or fourth time I did one of those shops.
I have to agree with the others ~ these places are always spotless, the food fantastic, and the people do a good job. The reports are *so* easy and I love the food! I just did one tonight!

When I first started MS'ing, I did the one closest to me a few times... then I stopped seeing it on the board, and only seeing the one across town. Do you think they just quit shopping the location closest to me (the first one in town) after awhile, or was I spotted, or... ? I only did a few there, so hard to think I did "too many". I've always wondered why no more at the location nearest me.

StormCloud, similar happened to me. A few years ago I stopped seeing the location closest to me, yet continued to see locations a bit farther from home. I know the close location is still shopped, just not by me.

I don't know why. The MSP states that if you see a shop on your board, you are eligible for it. I suspected I had over-shopped the nearby location, as I took it frequently. Also, I would be contacted to take it, last minute, with a bonus. I don't think I was identified as a shopper. Other shoppers who have been identified have been removed from the account, not just a specific location.

I've only done this shop once, quite awhile ago. Please explain what this means..I'm missing it.
This has got to be one of the easiest fast food assignments that is a regular on my schedule. Very little narrative. Not a lot of difficult details to remember. Really enjoy visiting Five Guys. The food is good, and the service is friendly.

Wow, Five Guys is one of my nightmare shops. To begin with the place was absolutely filthy. Then as I waiting for my food a drunk guy still holding a bottle of alcohol wanders and yelling things, spins around and hits his head out into a table and knocks himself out. Everything gets slowed down while waiting for the police and ambulance to arrive. That was a pain and a half to report. I think that was the only time that MS contacted me for clarification.
Can you specify toppings at 5 Guys? I'm trying to get one of those shops but if I have to take a burger "as is" I won't be able to eat it if there is mayo/dressings or onion on it. I'll never be able to do McDonalds because of that; everything on their menu except the chicken nuggets has onions.

You can order any combination of toppings you like. They have an awesome selection; I enjoy A1 sauce, mayo, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions.
Kathy! That's an amazing idea. What do you bake them at?

Never picked one of these...not sure I want to, not when you have to look for grease droppings. LOL!
Well, I am booked for one now. I have a route set up for Wednesday. Two audits and the Five Guys confirmed, waiting to hear on three others, two retails and a post office. Three are near each other, one is along the way, one is a little bit out of the way, and Five Guys is right on the way home. Have it all mapped out on MapQuest and docs printed for the three I'm confirmed on, should hear on the other three tomorrow. Taking a Slim-fast for lunch so I'll have plenty of room for a juicy burger and greasy fries for dinner, LOL. I'll have to get a Diet Coke to go with it.

I have often wondered why the guidelines tell us not to use our cell phones because it may tip off the workers that we're shoppers. Every time I've done a shop, I always see people on their phones talking, texting, reading stuff and/or playing games. So, do the workers think all the customers are shoppers? JMO

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart..."
I had the same thought. I would love to be able to text myself descriptions of the clerks, or be able to read a text reminding me of some of the details they want us to check. Seems we could do a better job if we could discreetly take notes.

300 degrees on a cookie sheet for 15 minutes with fruit salad and cottage cheese. I order the large fries. Dinner for two done!
Greasy fries, put in a brown paper bag, like they're proud of it =} A regular size is more than many people can eat, unless they haven't eaten in a few days. I can dine-in, take leftovers with me, eat fries all the way home, and no one ever knows I've partaken of the fries! Ask for an extra bag for leftovers, then place peanuts in the bottom of the clean bag. Put fries on top of them, and maybe there will be no grease stains in your car, though it surely will bear the 5G fragrance for a bit.

I haven't done one for a month or so, but a shopper friend did one recently. She indicated that guidelines have softened regarding standing steadfast at the counter while waiting for your order. I didn't get the specifics, but the indication was that you can get your drink or condiments, but don't go to the restroom. Seems like a much less obvious and more reasonable approach.

Crying,crying-THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!!! Long trip back to ST.LOUIEgrinning smiley
This is a fairly easy shop. The staff does wear name tags, so don't worry about taking notes.
That failing, you can take notes in the restroom.

Just try to memorize basic descriptions of them. This shop report is comprehensive yet not overkill
like the needless marathon one for Chipolte. This shop is most definitely worth it for the fee and free lunch/dinner...
Even if you are not crazy about the food, you can still eat just enough of it to fulfill the report requirements.
You've had to give descriptions of employees? I thought there was just the basic, drop-down menu one for your order taker (height range, age range, race, hair color/presence). I love the drop-down menu ones with ranges ~ so easy to remember that little information. I just always laugh when I answer "no" to the facial hair question for females. Heh.

The only note I ever have to take is the timing, so I can shut my flip-phone. I sit where I can quickly slip a pen out & jot it on the back of my receipt before stuffing it in my purse. Everything else is pretty easy to remember, especially since the locations around here are so clean & do everything correctly.

My instructions state that staff members do not wear name tags. Descriptions are fairly easy, basically the drop down menu. I have yet to run into any of the females with facial hair and sort of hope I never do.
