They've extended the dates on a handful in the town I'll be in on Tuesday so I picked one up. The only other one extended out that far is too far for me to bother with for $15. The others were only extended to Monday.

They have added a couple of more in my nearby town but my apps are still sitting there pending.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out they are posting more than they need filled. If this is in fact a test, Sassie gives them an option and advantage the other company's site does not, they can flood the boards until reaching the required goal. Despite the additional $1 in pay, my preference is for the other company. The ability to self-assign to create a route is more valuable.

That is what I was thinking. And I agree I love doing them for the other company and snapping up my 8 right away and off I go. It's just frustrating to see easy $15.00 shops sitting on a board when you know you are going to be going right past the spots...regardless of the reason they are sitting there.

Yeah, it's a bit frustrating when you're trying to build a route out of town (which is what I'm doing) and you have to wait to see if you get the shop. I don't know if I should apply for other things or not. I only want four shops this time (I'm running other errands in that town so don't want to overload myself). I've secured one and am waiting to hear on all the others. I love self-assign but it so seldom works out for the routes I try to do.

Lisa i agree. That is why i usually go with the other company (self assign ability). I like mystery researchers, but this pattern of shops sitting and not getting assigned is the first negative i have found. I just hope it doesnt continue that way with them.
