Yes they are great!

I usually avoid them because of the EIN and they tend to have very low pay in my area. It's nice to know they have a redeeming quality - fast pay.
I love when I get a job from Trendsource because they pay so super fast! Problem is that their pay is so low I generally don't take them.
They pay twice a month, without fail. If your shop falls even a day before scheduled remittance, yup, shows up in the bank account. As for the EIN, I'm still shopping without it, the only thing I can no longer do is self-assign. I don't think new shoppers can register without submitted one though.

This is the case with me too. I've done 2-3 shops over the second half of this year for TS, and don't have an EIN either.

I'm beginning to think that either I am signed up with the wrong companies or the pay rate is just lower in California. I work with them and their pay is comparable to the other companies that I work with but it seems like you all get paid much more. I guess as I get more experience I will be able to work with the higher paying companies (here's hoping).

One issue that comes into play regarding shop pricing is population density. If you live in a very populated area, there are likely to be more shoppers. More shoppers means more of a sense of competition to get jobs, which means jobs don't stay open for long. When jobs don't stay open very long, companies have no incentive to raise the pay in the hopes of attracting someone to do it.

That is a great point! That old 'supply and demand' rears its head again lol!

They paid me $35 for a Medicare Shop. Once I submitted the shop, I was paid the next day. (You have to wait and see if the Agent contacts you, a violation of Medicare...)

Yes, they have the EIN. I got one. I hope it does not come back to bite me.

I find their BV's, Inspections and one yesterday, pays $70 for measuring/photgraphing a business.
$70 for a BV! Last I checked, they paid $17. That's still better than Global Compliance, which offers $8/hour for a BV.
