Grocery shops $4.00

What do you think of Grocery shops $4.00 with $5.00 reimbursement. Might as well shop for free.

...the discount grocer?

The form asks a lot of questions, but the information is basic, mostly yes/no or check boxes with very little narrative. smiling smiley I'll do the one next door but not the one 20 miles from here.

I quite agree with amanda. There are a kot of questions without narration.

This particular company also finds any reason possible not to pay the shopper, any shop done for them is the luck of the dice to get your money. Good luck!

Yeah, some of these grocery shops, if not all, are pretty pathetic. Currently, Trend Source (which is a good company) is offering ONLY $7 plus a $7 reimbursement for groceries to conduct a price audit for 50 ITEMS in a particular grocery store. Now, that's a lot of work for only $7.00 These companies really need to get on the ball and offer some REAL cash incentives to get people to mystery shop. I haven't done a mystery shopping assignment for any company since last spring because most of the incentives are just not worth the work and travel expense to get there.
Well, if they put the prices up it would be even harder to get. You know how quickly some of the shops go anyway. I agree though that they should up the prices regardless. Yet the particular one you mention I think I did and I got free tp and laundry soap that will last a long time, plus make money, so I look at it that way, but yes, consider how far you must drive to see if it is worth it.
The mystery shopping companies get paid at least $50 per each store...I know it because when they are in a hurry, they have paid me a maximum of $35 for an emergency shops.

So companies get paid $50. What is wrong with this picture???? Like I said $4.00 shops, you might as well work for free and let the company pocket the money, which they are doing anyway at that price. Shoppers need to get the big picture.

And you know this because ???? If the company got paid $15 per shop but needed to get rush jobs done which they bonused they might well be paying you the $35 and eating the difference to get all locations done. And of course when they can find shoppers who will take the majority of the shops at the posted fee that gives them 'ammunition' to pay the bonuses on hard-to-fill locations and last minute shops due to flakes and substandard reports.

I noted a website a while ago where the potential clients were informed that there was a "set up fee" for the shops of $, a per shop fee of $, a shopper payment of $ and an editing fee of $. There then was a per photo fee of $. I don't know how prevalent this pricing structure is but I can assure you that the shopper fee and the per photo fee were about the same, which was grotesque.
