If you are already signed up with all of the "Big 7" video shopping companies, you are seeing most of what is out there. Like, 80%.

The other 20% are very local. Revealing them gives our geographical location and puts us at a competitive disadvantage, quite frankly. Especially since you indicate a "willingness to travel."

Sorry, I'm not that friendly to put up a post or send a PM that could cost me hundreds of dollars in shop fees.

And I wouldn't ask my fellow video shoppers to do this, either. Do as we did - do good video work, establish a reputation, and they will come to you.

An additional thought: there are only a select number of video companies doing new-home evaluations.

By naming four major builders in your original post, you are, in spirit, violating your ICA.

I would definitely edit your post pronto. I really do not think that the owners of video shopping forms would like to see this information on a public forum at all. And you are easily identifiable by your signature here in the forum.

I love how some of you assume I am new at this. You don't know me, you don't know how many of these I have done. I was simply asking if I was missing anything - as so many of you do in various other threads. Why I am continuously attacked and made to feel stupid is beyond me.

Hello, Shel. Sorry you got off to a rocky start here and hope you can get past it. This forum is very supportive. I have received invaluable mentoring since I joined and would not have enjoyed this work nearly as much without the help and encouragement of the forum members. At one point, I inquired about how to get started video shopping and I received detailed posts from many video shoppers trying to help me. I sincerely appreciated their generous and donated time spent responding to my many questions.
You are correct about Karma, if I understand what that is. I believe Karma is the same as "what goes around comes around" and
"you get back what you put forth". Is that right?

I agree. We can only shop a sales person once anyway. I suggested the Vsn because they will tell you what they need shopped and what areas, plus you can talk to the head people. I am always asked if I know someone. I will PM you when I get to my desk.
