I have officially lost it!

I received a payment from an MSC for my January shops, but one shop is missing. It is not even in my history on the MSC’s website. I have it on my shop calendar and on my spreadsheet. I go looking for my paperwork, so I can inquire as to what happened with it. I can’t find my paperwork. I looked through all my paperwork, which I keep in a bankers box and still can find it.

I am getting kind of pissed, because I can't believe they completely removed a shop I had completed and did not tell me.

I start going through my e-mails to see if I can find the confirmation e-mail with the shop number of even the shop reminder e-mail. I can’t find either of them. I can find every other e-mail, but not those. I get on my computer and go through my receipt scans and look for the receipt. Guess what? I can not find the scan of the receipt. Now I am thinking, oh sh*t, did I forget to enter it?

I remember the details of the shop, so I call my friend who went on the shop with me, to see if she saw what I did with my paperwork. This was a shop you could take someone with you. So she says, “Wait, we didn’t go to XXXX on XX/XX/XX? You said you were looking for a shop there, but didn’t find one. Remember, we went with your sister to have ice cream, since we didn’t have to go to do the XXX shop.” I about fell over……I would have sworn with every fiber in my being that we did that shop. How crazy is that?

Spaz, if I find my marbles, would you like to have some of them?

I was going to ask if you dreamed it.

(I dream about MSing most nights these days.)

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
This Saturday, February 2, I tore up my house for a $20 MS check then convinced myself that I had taken it the bank and cashed it on Saturday the 2nd. I had the details down, my mom was with me and so were the kids and I went through the drive thru. I knew I cashed it because we were on our way to a birthday party and I wanted to give the birthday lady $10. I'm at work and about to throw an envelope away until I look at the window. There was my check.
Sounds like a typical issue for me. I swear most days I am losing it. If it wasn't for my calendar and Mac...I would be lost and found walking in circles roadside. Glad you had a person to clarify!

It's a conspiracy. You are actually a spy who has been brainwashed. There was a power spike during the false memory implantation process. That's why you are experiencing this now.

Your friend and sister are not your friend and sister. They are enemy agents.
I actually went to bed, laid down and then jumped up and said, "I did not enter that shop!"

It was 11:00 p.m. I jumped out of bed, I got in front of the computer fast, groggy, turned the computer back on, when I realized that shop was for tomorrow....smiling smiley

A few months ago I received a reimbursement check for around $150. I took the check out and put it on the fridge. A couple hours later I absolutely could not find that check. I searched everywhere. Finally I remembered that I had been standing next to our garbage cans when I opened the check, and I wondered if I had accidentally thrown the check in the garbage. I went outside and dug through the bins, and found the check. Still sealed inside the envelope. Apparently I had accidentally tossed the entire thing without opening it. Good thing I caught the mistake right away, because our trash was picked up by the trash co. just a few hours later.
OK, y'all line up for the free marbles. Whenever I find them, I'll have a bunch.

I've done that more times than I can count! Arrrgh. Too much lost sleep.

The other thing that causes insomnia is those reports that have a generous 24 hour submission time. If I go to bed without having them done, I can't stop thinking about them. Drives me crazeeee!

In December, I opened a ms check for $150 and put it down. With all the holiday crazies, I remembered last week that I did not deposit the check. I could not find it and had to contact the msc to reissue. At least I lost it in my house somewhere, unless it went out with the trash.

LOL I feel your pain prettygul1! I do stuff like that all time, I hate checks!

I totally prefer dd, though my top preference is Paypal, so I can spread the wealth (just a tiny bit) between accounts.
