PV 500 question

I purchased a PV500 on craigslist. I would like to delete the log on it from the previous owner. I can see the logs but I can not figure out how to delete them. I would like it to only reflect the jobs I do in the future.

Some owners manuals can be found online. if you google "PV500 owners manual" something might come up. I had to google to find out how to put date stamps on my pics since I had no idea where my 3 year old camera's manual had ended up in this house.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
Thank you. I saw the manual online but I did not see how to accomplish what I was seeking.
What do you mean by "the logs?" I was looking at mine and going into Video Files takes me to "My Record." I delete them from the SD card.

I was fooling around with the unit trying to learn more about it. The main screen has a settings tab. If I go in under settings and I scroll down a bit sooner or later I found a setting to save logs and another to view the logs.
Which PV500 do you have? On my Main Menu the choices are Video Files, Audio Files, Photo Files, Recorder Setting and Program Setting. There is no reference to a log in any of them.
