I highly recommend everyone buy a fax machine for receipts. Some folks are under the impression you need a separate phone line for a fax--NOT TRUE. You can connect a fax machine to your regular phone line with a simple dual phone attachment sold in wal-mart or any office supply. Fax machines are cheap these days.

I am one of those who thought a separate line was needed and I didn't want to incurr the expense. Now, I will definitely get a fax machine. Any particular brands that you've had good luck with?

I've had good luck with any Panasonic--the KX-FHD331 is pretty good and cheap. Dont foget when you fax, to hit the RECEIVE MODE button to point to FAX and when you finish, hit it again to point back to TEL. That way when you want hone calls to come in, it will not kick in to FAX. Comprende? Hope this helps. Mike. shipmate_50@hotmail.com.
