mock juries

Hi
Is anyone familiar with companies in the So. Calif. area (LA/Orange Counties) that do mock juries? I've heard that it is fun, interesting, and pays fairly well.
Thanks in advance
Joan

I am very interested in doing mock juries in the San Antonio, Texas, area. I am registered with one company that does them, but I have never heard from them. Does anyone have any advice?
I too registered with about 6 different sites, it was months ago and I haven't heard anything back. I found those sites through the womenforhire.com network. They are frequently mentioned on the ABC Today show and have articles on working from home, as well as others.
I have signed up with a couple of companies that do mock juries. One of them said they have had several thousand people sign up to be on the jury but they can not find any lawyers that are interested. Go figure!!! No wonder we never get a call. It sounds interesting if anything ever comes of it.
I received an email today about jury duty scams. Supposedly you will get a call stating you missed jury duty and there is a warrant for your arrest. When you say you were never notified, the caller will ask for your full name, DOB, address and Social Security # to confirm they have the correct party. They will put you on hold to verify and when they return, they will tell you it was a mistake. They now have all the information needed to steal your identity. Please be careful:-)

Mock Juries are so much fun. And the pay is great! I have done several. I usually find them in the help wanted ads in the newspaper.
