I am doing the same store almost back to back for a week coming up, its my regular "shopping" store so I wanted to be sure to ask some legit questions so they dont think I'm a nutcase! The customer service desk rotates all of 4 people so at some point they are gonna be like why does this lady keep asking these dumb questions, so trying to get some "legit" questions to ask that dont set off any alarms for anyone

All of these suggestions are very helpful! Will be adding these and using them

Ask if they know if they have any boxes for things like.. shipping a package home to mom or for packing (they don't' have to know if it's for moving purposes or whatever, just in case you're in your favorite grocery store in your hometown or whatever.. =D).
If this is the one I am thinking of, the questions you can ask are kind of specific and in a certain category.

I have a lot of BBQs and dinner parties in the summer where I need seafood or burgers - the amounts are easier to ask for if you throw in a few 'And a couple of big teenage boys" or "And two toddlers and preschooler, I have no kids, I don't want to buy too much."

Customer service - you would be amazed how many times I have changed the school my lotalty card is linnked with.....my kids fight over whose school gets the points a lot =)
I just ask if they have incentives/reward program for switching a prescription to their location. They don't so it's a quick no, and I can move on to the next interaction.
Customer Service questions:

-Do they accept payments for utility bills, and if so what bills and is there a charge?
-Do they cash personal checks?
-Do they sell stamps or are they a postal substation? Postal substations are basically a post office in the grocery store vs. just selling stamps
-What time does the post office pick up the mail from outside (if they have mailboxes in front of the store)?
-If they do dry cleaning, what time does it have to be dropped off in the morning in order to get it back the same day?
-Do they sell hunting/fishing licenses?
-Where can I get a job application? Just tell them your child is looking for a PT job.
-Do they sell newspapers?
-If they sell lottery tickets, what is the latest time you can buy a Powerball ticket or some other game?
-Do they have a copy machine?
-Do they have a lost and found?
-Do they offer UPS or FedEx shipping?

For Seafood -
Ask if they can do large party platters and what would they recommend other than shrimp.
