DVR??

Can anyone recommend a somewhat decent DVR for cheap?? (Yes I know, I can't have my cake & eat it, too... but I'm on a budget.) I'm a woman, so I can use something that will fit in my cleavage, but I have no knowledge of sneaky little spying devices...

I use an Olympus purchased at Wmart (VN7000) no bells or whistles...less than 30.00. It is very small and works fine.
I bought a little sony from amazon.com It's great. I paid about $70 for it.
I just bought a RCA 1 GB with a flip out USB to transfer audio to computer, 400 hours on LP. Target for 34.99. I used it for a shop where I needed to know exact minutes and seconds, so when I walked in. I just said entering ______. It has a clock and shows the seconds. I put in on conference, popped it in my cleavage. It worked like a dream. It is a bit tricky to program, so I went on their web site and was able to figure it out. It does come with voice manager software. Good luck being a secret agent.
The price has really come down. A few years ago my Olympus cost around $60 and had a separate cable for uploading.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Be sure to get one with a slide/flip out attachment for a usb port. This is a real time saver. And, usb cords get lost or damaged too easily to be a good bet.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I have a Sansa clip. It's a smaller rectangular MP3 player that also records. I can listen to the recording using the included earbuds and/or can upload files to my computer with the included sync cable. The file is automatically named the exact time you started recording, and the display shows the elapsed time when you are either recording or playing the file. You also set up all the options directly on the device, using the display and menu button. It has a clip so you can clip it to your waistband, but I usually tuck it in my bra.
