There's currently another thread regarding this, and also try using the search feature. Lots of feedback!

I was somehow flagged as a shopper, with one MSP, following which the scheduler advised I should have used a fake name, phone number, ordered different types of pizza each time, and paid with cash. That advice has served me well, with another MSP.

Also, pay close attention to how you take the photos. That's normally the reason of having a shop rejected. Correct angles, no time stamp, auto-focus is best, and - my favorite - no body parts in the picture.
Thanks a bunch for the tips! Now I see the pizza photo thread. I guess this will be my pizza "test run" to see if I tackle another one.
PJs are good as long as you take the time for a perfect photo. Not hard to do, but just invest the time. Out of 50++ shops with them only one rejected for a photo. Well worth the 'compensated' pizza!
I checked with the company he said it made no difference if your pictures had a time and date stamp. A couple of years ago they said they didn't want the time and date stamp on the pictures.
There are at least three MSCs assigning PJs in my area. Those that I am aware of really emphasize the need for high resolution photos, with proper color, and NOTHING that could ID the shopper in the photo. If you follow those guidelines, and shoot from a 90 degree angle, and capture the ENTIRE pizza, you shouldn't have any issues. Use a real digital camera or at least a HIGH QUALITY camera on a good smartphone. My i-phone 4S works perfectly for this one-----100% success, zero rejected shops.
Well, I did the shop today. Who knew a pizza could be so photogenic? smiling smiley Now I shall see if I hear any screams from the MSC from what I submitted......
Most pizzas are quite photogenic. Some are even exhibitionists, especially the males. (They are the ones with the pepperonis.)
Hmm wish I'd heard the advice about a fake name before I started these mystery shops in our new town. However since they're delivery shops, you'd think they'd recognize the address!

Pizzas are photogenic, my problem always is leaning over to take a photo ( even standing on a chair) , the camera casts a shadow even with overhead lights. I end up having to take them in outside light.
Most recently I took photos outside on the porch as it started raining, trying to rush through so my pizza wouldn't get soaking wet!
Wow. Been doing these since I started 8 years ago. Yet the other day I caught a wee part of a finger in the photo. Glad I always take extras.
Kind of hard to use fake phone number when they use caller ID. Ordering different pizzas does work though. And one company specifically says not to take photos outside or in direct sunlight. You are right, when trying to set up, you see those shadows, etc. But with flash they so not come thru the pix.
Most of the time, I have found that the car hood makes a perfect backdrop for photos. I even take pics of receipts using this method if I am away from the shop itself (park a mile or so away and while I am doing my reports as I go while out on the road). The car hood is usually outside so good lighting and is a solid color.
For the pizza one, I just put the box on top of the car hood and lean over and take the pic. This works as long as it is not raining and my neighbors are used to me taking funny pics. The neighbor kids even think I work as a photographer LOL.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
