Vitamin store audit

Has anyone done one for Marketforce? In the guidelines it says may take up to one hour, but we all know how off those times can be! There are also pictures required. I've never had a problem with any of their shops but I was looking for some input before I accept smiling smiley
Thanks!

The one I did about two years ago took me three hours to complete. I'm not sure if we're talking about the same store, though, as the estimated time to complete was two to three hours for my assignment (I think).

I remember having to take two photos each of the store's left and right-side wall displays. The guidelines stated that the first photo should be taken from the beginning to the middle of the left wall, and the second from the middle to the end of the left wall. Then, I had to do the same for the wall on the right. There was no way to fit all of that in two photos: the floor displays were so close to each other and to the wall that I could not move back to get the required amount of the wall in the frame. I ended up taking three photos, thinking that my report would be rejected. It surprisingly wasn't.

Another frustrating thing was the process of uploading the photos. They wanted me to name them a certain way, which I found out after having uploaded them all with my own labels. So, it took me a long time to delete everything and start all over.

All in all, it was a new experience for me and I was a new shopper, so everything was going slower than I anticipated. I must have spent five-six hours on the assignment in total, which resulted in a poor hourly wage.
I've done this same shop, it's the same one that cirmi2000 has done. I've done this shop about 3 or 4 times. I quit doing them because the fee kept getting lower and lower. So I don't know if they have decreased the amount of items that have to be audited, or the number of photos. I agree with cirmi2000--the amount of work on the photos really tends to kill any sort of profit you can make. But like I said, I haven't done one in about 3 years, so perhaps the company has lessened the requirements and the number of photos. If not, then I don't think the fee would be worth it. Just my 2 cents.
I did this shop in June and I would love to get another. I was in store for 35 minutes and had everything completed. I conclude that the report had greatly been streamlined. I don't see how it could possibly take the 3 hours. In my case the store had reset all their merchandising to the a new plan and nothing matched up and I took tons of pictures. The shop was paid so I assume that the MSC found everything satisfactory.
I've done them, but not lately. They weren't memorably difficult or overly time consuming. I haven't seen any available recently in my area.
I wouldn't accept it for that fee. Mine was $27, and I don't recall the starting fee.

Since I had a bad experience with this shop, I'm definitely biased smiling smiley. It doesn't hurt to try if you don't have anything else scheduled. It can turn out well for you -- perhaps they do have a *new* questionnaire and you would be done in less than an hour. Good luck and let us know how it goes smiling smiley.
This was an easy job. Just be sure to take lots of extra photos in case they ask for additional views. You don't have to upload all of these, just have them available if requested - and I was asked for more photos.

Other than that it was a good paying job for not too much effort. They have a strange "match the photo to the box" upload method but even that was easy once you got into it.

Well worth the time.
Unless they have changed dramatically that is a ridiculous fee. Back in 2008 they took me around 45 minutes to an hour and were paying $29.

I have done those for six years. It used to be $30, then $29, then $27. It takes me usually 45 minutes or less at the store. They are easy. The report and picture takes 30 minutes at home.

So what exactly does it involve? Just taking pics to make sure they have everything displayed correctly? And has anyone done the gas station audits for Marketforce? Those are paying $9
I have done the gas station audits but not for $9. It is way too much work for $9. I would wait till they bonus them to at least $15.
For some reason, the last two vitamin store audits, both times the editor asked for more photos. I was told one photo had a glare. Of course it did, it was taken near the front of the store looking outside. It was very sunny that day and even after adjusting the camera there was still somewhat of a glare. It couldn't be helped. The other assignment, the editor asked for photos that weren't even required. I wrote back and mentioned this, and my shop was accepted.
