Very quick question re: Comcast Compliance Shops

Sorry for all the questions lately, but I do search the forums first before asking.... I found some posts on Comcast shops, but couldn't find the info I need.

Just wondering about how long the report takes to do? This is the one where you go in to the location and ask about downgrading your service (which I plan to do anyway--after the shop--so I'd like to do this one). You can't view the actual report, just the guidelines, before taking the shop. And I've decided to start paying more attention to the pay vs. time component of mystery shopping. I'm quitting one of my part-time jobs soon and want to do more MS, but I'll need to do it more for money than enjoyment now! LOL.... This pays $14, and the Comcast office is only about 10 minutes from me.

Thanks in advance!

I did one in April for an msc that starts with an "A"? Or an "I". Anyway--very easy. The longest part was waiting in line. The employee immediately started to give me discounts and free service before I said anything about downgrading.

I goofed--the name of this shop is Comcast "retention" shop, but most of you probably figured that out!

Anyway, I did this shop last week, and there's a question at the end asking if you would do it again. I answered no and explained that the reason was that there was far too much detail and time-consuming narrative for the pay ($15) offered, in addition to the drive time and in-store time (especially since I waited in line for almost 20 minutes. I said I'd do it again if the pay were more.

A couple days later I see the remaining shops in my area pop up at $25! Dammit! I should've waited longer before taking this one... I doubt they upped the pay based on my feedback, but they sure were having a hard time filling these shops--probably because the other shoppers in my area know how much time they take! By the time I saw the e-mail on the only other one within a reasonable distance from me, it was gone.

Yeah, I guess! Next time I won't be so quick to jump on this shop. I won't be able to do the same scenario, but I can probably do the other one....

Yeah started at $14 and I just did one for $35 today! I did 4 in my area. Thankfully I could fit them in with errands that I had in that area anyway!
I had NO clue these shops might be bonused! Now I know better, LOL, and will look for the next round, but won't take any till they go up!

I did a similar retention shop for Dish but it was over the phone and not in person. I don't remember how much the shop paid but the report wasn't bad - AND I got a cool $20 off my bill for the next 12 months. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Was the shop easy? I'm waiting til they are 50.00 to bite. there is ALWAYS a huge line at ours.
It was not an easy shop for the base fee! And, compared to the couple of bank shops I've done recently for more money, it was more work and more involved. So, not at all worth the base fee, but I'd probably do one again for $20 or more.
