What did you work for today???

Yesterday lunch, today my (aaarh) jewelry audit...fingers crossed. Tues. Medicare lecture at Hyatt hotel in my town with breakfast, but can't believe it only pays 15.00 for an hour. Things are slowing down, but had busy month so far.

I shipped two packages ($20.00), Hinted about needing credit to buy a computer ($14.00), shopped for a ceiling fan ($14.00), inquired about having a poster framed ($12.00), ate a Double Steakburger with lots of veggies on it (reimbursed), and bought a new lamp that cost me almost as much as I made. lolol

Tomorrow I get to hint about needing credit at two children's clothing stores and another office supply store. Am a bit tired so will probably stop at that point and come home. Going to be eating out alot in the next couple of weeks. Some reimburse with gift vouchers. That's cool too because I can use those later with no reports. One will be for $40 and come in time to gift it for Christmas.
Smart and Final, Smart Car, Crate and Barrel (coffee tasting), Sonoma Williams (same), and lunch at the Japenese BBQ...big day for me!!

Irene, I just did a medicare shop that was $30, but they were desperate and bonused it to $50 for me. I have never seen them for less than about $25 or $30. Could your lower pay be because it includes breakfast?

Carol
Tomorrow is my day off from my regular job. I have worked the last seven days in a row starting with Black Friday. "Tis the season. Shops for tomorrow include:

1) quick bank teller shop $22
2) Two Joann Fabrics, $6 total reimbursement, approx. $15 in fees. (I love that store so low pay is not a problem, plus they are both located near by, one is almost $7 and the other $9 something)
3) Lowe's, $14 something plus $1 reimbursement, whoo hooo.
4) Money Tree, quick in and out, $19 total (I already did the $6 phone shop tonight).

So, about $75 including reimbursements and I will meet a friend for lunch. Shops are all pretty brief. smiling smiley
Yesterday, assisted living video with travel bonus; same today. Total over $200.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Today I'm spying on demonstrators and shopping for a cell phone at the same warehouse place. I have a Medicare event and a grocery shop later this afternoon.
Carol, might be the later they get, they have to get them done, and remember my post about ICCDS being low on pay....well, their $15.00 proves it.

Mert, I know what your doing, have done it and usually buy myself their truffles, so good, imported and resonabile to boot!!

I worked for the equivalent of $50 per hr. Shop pd $25.00 (less 10 miles gas) (less 20 minutes imput). Healthcare event lasted a total of 30 minutes instead of the normal l hr. After doing about 10 I could do the whole thing in my sleep. Anyway it was a needed break and was very pleased to say goodbye to the agent.
Hehe, using all of what I learned doing new and used car shops to look for a car for me! The salespeople seem like deer caugth in the headlights when I tell them what I do not want to hear.

Carol, I finally snagged the 30.00 Health (senior) job, and it is targeted. I cannot for the life of me find the phone # to call and make appt. with the target. I'm now spending 40 minutes on this.....do you remember, it is NOT in the first four step instuctions. I just contacted them, if it's in front of my nose, I'll feel like a major idiot.

Irene, if it is for SCAN or whatever, call their main office (800) number and ask for the agent's direct phone #.
This is for Trendsource, a target call. They won't have it.

edited to say, have to call a call center before making my appt.....talked to someone and got info.

Irene, I've done the one-on-ones. The agent is given your information and will contact you at the information Trendsource has in your profile. The agent will believe your name was provided as a result of referral, or other normal business practice. These can be done anytime this month that you and the agent agree upon. You'll have to take the certification quiz and when you complete it, more shop details will be visible to you. I've asked for the agent to meet me at a coffee shop or even once, at the library - if I wasn't sure about them.
Mert, I took certification test and was ready to call, my instrutions were to call and make the appt. I just called, they made the error and did not print her #. This was corrected by them, and I just got her. We are meeting tomorrow at 11:00.....I'm leaving Thursday, so, needed to do this tomorrow, (reason for being paniced)....everything looks good, we're meeting at Coffee Bean in Bevery Hills, that's about half way. Her offices were on Vine St., madness, BH has 3 hours free parking. Thanks guys for the effort.

Good deal. Interesting how these are done differently in different States.
Been really sick again, but did a Mexican Restaurant (reimbursement only) and a Plus Size retail (reimbursement only) because I committed myself to them Tomorrow have another Plus Size retail and anotherrrr Mexican Restaurant where I can order some stuff and get lids and bring part of two items home. Then off to the doctor yet againnnnn.
I had a long day, unrelated to mystery shopping. But, I scheduled a grocery store to grab on my way home.

Got home, and couldn't enter the report because the shop is tomorrow.
Today I did a purchase/return, grocery, Aaron Bros., and a great lunch (tuna ahi sandwich). total $72.00, and was home by 2:00.

Hey, this thread hasn't been active for a while, so nice to see a new post. Today I worked three hours at my regular job, went to Zumba class, went to Moms in Touch prayer group, went to my support group, and shopped JoAnn Fabrics (got something for the upcoming wedding) and went out for pizza shop with husband.

Carol
Thursday: Three video shops ($190) then drove 200 miles (reimbursed $97)) to start two night time share that will pay $50 plus $100 in free hotel (for later), plus $50 cash. Friday: video shop ($90) near time share, Saturday, short video shop near time share ($60).

This is all part of a 20 day road trip. Except for the time share, all hotels are on free points from my "frequent sleep" accounts, earned as part of the swag from past hotel shops. This is how I turn those points into "cash."
