There are mixed opinions on them. They don't pay well and it's just a five dollar reimbursement. I do them. There are a few items I like to get there and free works for me. You may hear some comments about the form...it used to be extremely redundant in places but they have streamlined it in the last year and I find the form to be super quick to input. If I were you I would try one and see what you think.

If you are already planning to be there, it isn't a hard shop. The pay and reimbursement aren't enough to go unless you are already planning to be there.

Watch for the trick questions like Do they sell flowers. Some do some do not. And they might be sold out but did they sell them?
I do them when they are bonused and they will be bonused if one waits. Otherwise I wouldn't bother even if I was driving by. The report isn't bad but it used to be a lot easier when they were shopped by another company.

Just depends how many times they have had it scheduled and dropped. The most I have gotten for one is 20.00 plus the reimbursement.

I have never seen one bonus'ed in my area. They are usually gone in a day. The report is super easy.

I have never seen an Aldi shop. Is it shopped by one of the companies on the official list on this site?
Easy report. I love their produce. Got a Dole pineapple for .99 that I normally buy at Krogers for $3.99. Make sure to bring your own bags, or they charge you for bags. Also bring a quarter to use their carts. They are normally not bonused in my area but I got it at $12.
FYI: Aldi is opening another 75 stores in the USA....
I only do them bonused as well. I've gotten ones as high as $28 (which I assume was for a last minute cancellation). I agree, the report is very easy.
I do them for the base pay. They have a few items that I prefer over other stores so I just do my normal shopping there and stop by the restroom and ask the right questions. I would go there with or without the shop so may as well make a few bucks.

There is one around the corner and another near my parents' house. They usually have good produce prices, and eggs are only 89 cents a dozen. I don't shop there on a regular basis, since there prices are comparable to any other store in the area. But, it's not out of my way, so I'll grab them. They go fast.

Yeah I don't see that - 20 minutes in the store, less than ten reporting, true the cash component is only 4.00 but I get 5 in groceries that I will use...that is an equivalent of 9.00 for a half an hour. I wouldn't drive miles for this but I can easily do the one in my town and others when on routes.

Yeah I don't see that - 20 minutes in the store, less than ten reporting, true the cash component is only 4.00 but I get 5 in groceries that I will use...that is an equivalent of 9.00 for a half an hour. I'd do some of these if I saw them posted. There's so many Aldi near my house that I wouldn't have to go out f my way and the 5.00 in groceries would actually be useful.

Did you know that Aldi and Trade Joe's are owned by the same family?? Is Trader Joe's shopped. We are getting 2 in them my area in the Spring.
The two stores could not be more different in my opinion. Trader Joe's has such an emphasis on organic and natural while my one and only visit to Aldi's gave me a headache from reading all the labels. It was still virtually impossible to find products without ingredients I have banned from my home.

I love Aldi's. They have a lot of healthy products. And the produce and milk is generally under priced. 59 cent soup is hard to beat for cream of soups. Trader Joe's is excellent but over priced. So two different trains of shopping. To each his own.

I love Aldi. Love love love it. Try their "weird" stuff, it is delicious, like the spekulaitis (sp?)cookies. Smart company that they are they bought the Trader Joe's company. I also love Trader Joe's.

You could not be more wrong about Trader Joe's being overpriced. The same items at local grocery stores are usually 25 to 50% more and can easily be three to four times as much at Whole Foods. The vast majority of products at the Aldi's near me were loaded with trans fats, high fructose corn syrup and lots of ingredients I could not begin to pronounce. I did not see any meat, poultry or dairy listed as free range, organic, hormone or antibiotic free. Others seem to have had great luck with the produce, but it was lackluster at the store here.

Never seen them bonused in my area, but the base fee and reimbursement is $9 and ya gotta eat. Buy $30 in groceries, net cost is $21. Report is quick and easy and their prices are low (in my area). I try to pick up a couple a month.
No fee, no shop.
I've done a few Aldi's in the past, but don't do much mystery shopping right now. However, I still
do shop at Aldi's weekly. LisaSTL, I've been rather pleasantly surprised in the past couple of months...the Aldi's I shop at is carrying organic apples, organic lentil soup (delicious!), organic
chicken stock and organic mozarella string cheese...I couldn't believe it when I saw these items! I've bought every one of them and have not been disappointed! There may be more organic items, but these are the ones I've seen and bought so far......pleasantly surprised!

I was just going off the base price - depending on where you live you may or may not get them for more. I did not realize your comment indicated that you could typically get them for more. In my area the local ones are gone within hours. The further out ones (smaller rural areas) sometimes rise three or four dollars but then it's only worth it if you are in that town for something else. By all means...if you can wait and still get the shop for more go for it.

I was just going off the base price - depending on where you live you may or may not get them for more. I did not realize your comment indicated that you could typically get them for more. In my area the local ones are gone within hours. The further out ones (smaller rural areas) sometimes rise three or four dollars but then it's only worth it if you are in that town for something else. By all means...if you can wait and still get the shop for more go for it.
