first Chipotle shop coming up

I am getting indigestion just thinking about it. Any pointers?

(I actually think it will be ok as long as I remember to get a receipt.)

Despite what the shopper guidelines say, they always automatically give me a receipt. :-) Just try to get a good visual on what all the crew members are doing the whole time. And remember, you don't need a ton of description of each one - basically just male/female, hair color and style.
I have not seen any in my area, but be prepared to spend $7-$8 on a simple burrito.

The pay is a flat $25-27. I usually order a bowl, chips, and guacamole and it's about $10. If I take someone with me, we order two bowls, split an order of chips and guacamole, and it's $16. Purchasing beverages other than water would add to that cost. Drinks are not required and I never get one, prefering to drink water.
Look at the food while on line and then look at the crew members for their descriptions while eating. First one will be hard and I almost did not continue, but trust me it gets better each time. Oh also, write the narratives first and then go back to the short answers. The editors are great and will give you very helpful comments in the nicest way ever.
GOOD LUCK.

THREE YEARS AGO I was trained, did one job, they didn't like it for one small thing and I NEVER GOT PAID.. a day training, that took me about 90 minutes one way drive and back....................................
Hope you don't need to order guac!

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
pony123lucy,

I too am new. Here is my suggestion.

They are usually very loud inside, upon entering, count the number in line, the number of occupied tables...

You can use your phone as a recording device, (or audio recorder) most people now a days carry a cell in their hands...record the descriptions of each line crew. Be aware of your greeting...who, what was said...Observe each pan of food, was it full, how did it look, dry, juicy, so on....

Seat yourself in a position where you can observe the line. Record the description of each crew member, also keep track of table visits, what was said, were hands washer, what was chef doing, so on...???? if there was anyone cleaning the dining room. Remember to visit the restroom, count the number of occupied tables and number in line when you depart...

Good luck! It does become easier.
I've been doing them for the last year or so. The first one is a little challenging, but because of the training they give it makes it much easier to handle. Once you do a few of them, they will become pretty easy. There are a lot of observations to make during the time you are there, but they become pretty easy to make once you get the hang of them.
There is a private facebook group that you can join. Good tips and advice are offered. The editors post there too and help clear things up. Don't give up, it gets easier.
