Wal-Mart As Seen on TV Audit

I was approched to do a route of As Seen On TV Audits. I am able negotiate a price for these audits, I was just wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to the scope of these. I notice that they are expected to take about 2 hours. Is that realistic?

Thanks!

The length of time the audit will take is directly proportional to how well the store is maintained. These shops are on my 10' pole list for that reason.

I have done two in the past. Both stores were super-sized, the managers I dealt with were rude, unpleasant and hated their jobs and the area where the displays were, both on the floor and in the back, were just a mess. They each took me more than two hours and I'm never doing another one again. Not worth the pay.

Anyway, YMMV.
Oh boy that really scares me! Now wonder why they are begging new people to do them!
You might make sure it is just an audit. There is a mini re set ( hidden in the descritpion) of a merchandising company.
Is this the old Certified, by chance? Certified booted me years ago, so I haven't seen what they do now for MF.
Having done some merchandising in various wallyworlds a couple of years ago I would wholeheartedly recommend that you stay as far away as possible. As a sidenote the "as seen" display at our local walmart consistently looks as though a tornado just passed through.
This audit shop sounds as bad as the purple furniture store shop! Take one once and you'll never do it again.
I used to do those with my whole heart! I had to spend half the time removing other items that did not belong on the ASOT aisle. It seems I wasted half the time doing that, then the other half of the hour frantically trying to get a 20 foot aisle in shape, following the POG. It was NOT worth it! I did many of them and got tired of seeing all the Wal-mart stores ASOT aisles ripped apart

But the final blow was the B---- I had to deal with in one of the stores. I hung my hat up for good on those. tongue sticking out smiley
Too much work - too little pay. If the store is well maintained it is not so much of a problem but I would watch the areas you go to. I have found that some stores are just such a mess....and the employees are NOT happy.
Heartland, this isnt with MF, but the company sounds like the one you speak of.

Well I guess it is going to take me three of these to figure out if I can't stand them or not! The money lured me in this time!
The first one I did went so well, I immediately signed up for two more. Big mistake, both of these were a pain. On the second one, I got everything set to Planogram. Then the Manager shows up and asks me if I moved stuff. I said yes, I was setting to Planogram. She told me nope, it would not work and made me put it back the way it was. Never again at that store at least!
