Arbys Revealed shop

Hello!

I just did my first arbys revealed shop....I am sorry but that shop is just terribly akward...I think you should just go through the shop and not reveal yourself at the end. I did one right by my house and now I am going to likely be avoiding it for a while.

I'd hesitate about doing a reveal at a shop I frequent in real life. Unless reveals are the only kind of shop you do there. It would be hard to do a non-reveal at a place where you came in and said, "Guess what? I'm your mystery shopper today."

On those Arby's reveals, aren't you awarding them something for good service, or is that not the shop I'm thinking of?

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Mine was literally you hand them a flyer that basically says sign in in a few days to get your results. It was just akward...I dont frequent it in real life too often, but it is suuuper close to my apartment so now i feel like I am going to HAVE to avoid it.

Actually, if you don't avoid it (just go to it like you normally would), you will find that you will probably get better service. Also, they never know if you are there just to eat or there for their shop. The smart ones will figure it out though due to the food you order (unless you always only order the one certain sandwich and wait to see if they offer a combo).

Curly fries!!! "Please, please. ask me for the combo!" runs through my head...... (Last two times, no curly fries sad smiley )
Sometimes you just have to say they asked and order the curly fries anyway!*

They need to change up these scenarios. The last time I did one the manager was waiting at the counter for me to come in. Another time, as I was leaving after getting my sandwich "corrected", a district manager-type introduced himself and asked me questions. I don't mind these shops - they are easy.
mshoulders, we are not allowed to reveal who shops what here. It's against forum rules and the agreements we all signed with the MSCs. Sorry.

I agree, I like them too.

So far they have done well on the "test" of handling an objection.
I won't do a reveal at the Arby's in town because I have shopped them for another MSC and I don't want to ruin it. I do like to pick up these though when I go on an out of town route because they are an easy way to grab lunch between other shops/audits and I'll likely not be there again for a while. Still a little awkward to go in with the flyer somehow "discretely" hidden and then reveal yourself after your scenario plays out.

Could I have a receipt please?
InPlainSight, for women, it is easier to hide the flyer "discreetly". I just put it in my purse. For men, they would need to fold it up and put it in a pocket; however, since the guidelines say no jeans, the khakis pockets usually aren't as big. If it is cold outside, you could always wear a jacket or coat to hide the flyer.
