Fast Casual Burger Takeout Scenario

I did the fast casual burger joint tonight as a phone-in. My instructions stated that dine-in was not required, but if you chose to dine-in, you'd have to remain in the restaurant for 15 minutes.

I chose not to, since it wasn't required. I was there six minutes. I just entered my report and it flagged me after entering my time, asking why I didn't stay for 15 minutes.

I haven't done this scenario before, I always do lunch, dine-in required. That's the first I've seen where remaining 15 minutes wasn't necessary.

Did I screw up and read the instructions wrong?

Read them again and see.

If you read them right, then just explain, "Because the shop was a takeout and did not require me to stay 15 minutes."
I did. It still says the same thing. But it flagged me at the 15 minute part.

Just put in why you didn't stay that long. I have a gas shop I do that flags me if I don't take 30 minutes or more to do the shop...some of the stations are tiny and take maybe 15 minutes. I just put the the station is small and move along.
That particular company always flags me when a shop is less than 15 minutes. It flagged me on a cell phone shop the other day (I was the only customer in the store so I finished in 12 minutes). I have always been paid and not asked any further questions after explaining why in the report.
This particular company flags anything unusual and you must explain. It does not mean your report will be declined or that they will contact you. For example, a restroom check is required. A mall location has a shared restroom. Question: Did you find a restroom to evaluate? No. Flag: why did you not? Answer shared restroom. (The particular mall location is set so that if you answer yes you will get an error message because they know there is not one.) There is usually a Flag if you exceed the reimbursement amount but it just required an explanation. Not a problem ........ Unless it doesn't fit into the guidelines.
Yes, those "flags" don't mean "Why did you screw up this shop!!!" they just mean "you just said something that requires more than yes or no; explain."

Time to build a bigger bridge.
