How to shops get scheduled so quick

I was sitting at the computer and received an email from one of my favorites! I immediately logged in to schedule some jobs. There were 5 or 6 in my area. Every single job was already gone. This happens with two of my favorites. Does anyone know how this happens? It would seem like everyone should get the email at the same time.

This might be a dumb question, but I always wondered how this happened!!!

The jobs hit the board about two hours before the mass emails get sent.

And some shoppers get early notification.

cheydog, watch your email and the boards, like a hawk, for a few months. Track the release times. That's what other shoppers, your competition, are doing. By the time you get an email, other shoppers have been logged into the MSC's site. They have self-assigned or requested shops, and beat you to the punch. Timing varies, but shops are released to the MSC's board well in advance of emails.
I also feel some shoppers may have it set up with the scheduler for specific companies that every time x location is released they get assigned right away location don't go to job board or email.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I have been shopping for over a year. When I talk about my two favorite companies, I was able to grab all the jobs with these two! No problem. I think I may have been the only shopper in my area. Then I got competition, ugh. I had a feeling I should be watching the boards like a hawk. I do not like this competition!

The good thing is... most don't stick with it.

Unless they are experienced shoppers who've just moved to your area... the odds are that you'll have your turf back within a few months-a year. Just in time for a new poacher to come onto the scene. smiling smiley

I do want my turf back!!! I'm not liking this. sad smiley
Hey there will be months where you won't get a shop because either someone else has taken it or there is a shopper rotation rule. I'm a nightowl so I'm around when some MSCs post new shops. I also use different apps on my smartphone which alert me when MSCs that use Sassie/ShopMetrics post new assignments. Sometimes I log onto MSC sites for the heck of it and have found shops way before they were e-mailed to everyone else. Find MSCs that allow self-assign (or the opportunity to work yourself up to that status). With one particular MSC, I was able to do so after doing 4 or 5 assignments.

From what I've read on here, there are many shoppers from my area but everyone's situation is different. Some months people can't do shops or have to wait ___ amt of days. Hang in there!

Seems like there are always a lot of opportunities in Toronto & area...I see them all the time on the job boards. I can't even hold out one day for a bonus in my area right now, I have to take them right away or they'll be gone. I'd love to spend a weekend in the GTA.
We would love to have you smiling smiley

Or. you will get the proverbial email: "Sorry, this shop has been taken by another shopper."

If you are on the computer, find your email program that alerts you to "new mail" oftentimes, it is a SHOP being posted...smiling smiley

I told a co-worker who asked me all about shopping and when I was done explaining the state of Nevada shopping rules, she said: "Oh, never-mind. It sounds like too much of a pain." tongue sticking out smiley

So, I think the newbies here, might give up after hearing they need to pay about $118.00 to get their work card to shop here..and the fact they can be fined $2,500 each shop if they are not working for a licensed private investigator...smiling smiley
