Best MS apps

What phone apps would you recommend for a newish shopper? I have Geoverify, One Drive and Stopwatch lite, but wonder what else is out there.

Shopit app. It looks like you are sending texts while recording times. Plus you can mark time by hitting the volume up button on your phone. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't run in background when my phone goes to sleep so if I am in line I have to pull out my phone and start it up again to make it work.

Set your phone to "never" in auto shut off, and that won't happen. Just remember to set back when you finish your shop, so you don't drain your battery.

Thanks!! Found Shopit! for Andoid and installed it. Looks like a great App.

Field Agent, Gigwalk, and Rewardable.

I often find additional assignments on there at or next door to places I have shops anyway.

Gig walk send me notices about shops in my area but when I load the app it just sits there and never loads shops.

I also highly recommend Shop-it! It does work slightly better on apple devices if you have that option

The paid version ($2) is totally worth it, plus it's a business expense at tax time if you are really worried about it.

Also, I had the job slinger app on my Galaxy S3, but uninstalled it from my new S5 as the function key disappeared and I could no longer "delete" the listing.

Look at using camscan. Takes pretty good pictures for POV items. Downside is that it only takes PDF, as far as I can tell. Maybe the paid version will convert to .jpg

Thanks Laura. That will come in handy for my 2 day MS road trip that includes a certain MSC that insists on PDF only receipts.

Loaded the Gig app and others and will see how many Canadian jobs they generate.

About CamScanner....

Once you take the photo of your POV... you can hold down on the image itself and a pop-up comes up, with a few options. Click "Share" and then "Save to Gallery."

Saving to Gallery saves it as a .jpg. Then exit out of CamScanner, go to your phone/tablet's gallery, and email it to yourself. It will email as a .jpg

Otherwise, click "Share" and "Email" it to yourself, and it will send as .pdf

Back from 3 day route and LOVED camscanner! ! Saved me a couple stops at Staples.

And big fan of MSC that insisted report was done through Rewardable. Assignment done by the time my butt hit the seat of my vehicle.

For some reason gigwalk hasnt had anything in my area for the last 3 days and I now have downloaded rewardable!
