Sinclair out of stock grocery stores

I apologize if this has been addressed previously. I looked but did not see it anywhere. Are these shops worth the $15? I have not signed up for these yet as it seems it could take hours to check all shelves. Any feedback appreciated!

I have done a lot of them. I think they are easy. You are just looking for out of stock items, that have price codes on them. You do have to watch it however, some of the Managers will go in front of you and fill the holes. That will slow you down, because, then you do have to look at everything. Some of the stores are very small, but they still want you to spend an hour. The longest shop I had was 1:35, I had to look at every tag, as the Manager was filling the spaces.
I done them. They are pretty simple once you get your system. Takes about an hour to 1 1/2 hrs. No narratives.

If the manager starts playing those kinds of games, I stop, pull out my cell phone, and call the scheduler right in front of him. I had to do it once and within 10 minutes, he was on the phone with the district manager and I was free to do the balance of it unencumbered.

It's at the top of my "one and done" list. Hundreds upon hundreds out-of-stocks. No thank you, e-v-e-r again. Fifteen dollars? Pffft!

I didn't notice that you had to be there for a minimum of one hour when I did one. It took me 40 minutes because it was a very small grocery store. MSC had a fit and banned me from ever doing them again. They said that combined with the fact that there were very few out of stock items I couldn't possibly have done the job properly. So, make sure you take at least an hour and that you find a LOT of out of stock items! I pointed out to them that I have an Accounting degree and I'm currently doing a Masters in Accounting so I can count fairly well..... however, it didn't change a thing.
jgilham, you were blessed. Mine was not "a very small grocery store" and, although I can't remember the exact number, 564 out-of-stocks seems to ring a bell. Two and a half hours in the store also seems to ring a bell. Ugh, ugh, and double ugh.

Did them twice. First time, two hours. I thought maybe I just drew bad luck on my first one, so tried again later. Second one, three hours and fifteen minutes.

They're now on my "Hell will freezeth over first" list.

I would do it for 250 on the smaller stores.

I did one (once) for Trendsource for a whopping $10. It took me almost two hours. NEVER AGAIN.
I've done some of their larger stores. Longest it's ever taken was 1:45. This is another of those projects that you treat like a Kmart audit...do the perimeter of the store first in the order that you come to the departments, NOT in the order they appear on your paperwork. Go in a counter-clockwise direction. At that point you'll end up at frozen foods and then the center of the store. Also, when doing the center of the store, walk down the center of the aisle, look and count one, four-foot section, then turn your head to look at the section on the opposite side and count it. That way you're only making one trip on each aisle.
