"Living Well" Department at Albertsons?

Okay, I'm in this store all the time and this is the first time I've heard of this department. I haven't shopped this client since they were taken over by United Market. I did not see this department and could not provide any interaction detail, since there was no interaction. sad smiley Is this a part of the pharmacy area? What am I missing here?

The pharmacy is a different department. I did 2 today and I asked an associate if there was such a department and she said no. I asked another one and she didn't know what it was! I think it's anything to do with healthy products I believe.

Albertson bought United and the stores look the same inside. I buy my groceries there all the time like you. To be honest, I know they don't have one because I used to do them for the other MSC and they accepted my answers.

Maybe someone can tell us exactly what that is. Googling it didn't tell me anything.

Okay, thanks Canuck. I did one today and that question really threw me. I basically said I wasn't able to locate that department. I have 5 to do tomorrow. I'll ask at each store. If I find out anything, I'll report back.
Funny thing you're mentioning you have 5 to do tomorrow. When I scheduled the 3 I did today, it stated only 3 were allowed in this round. You must be special! winking smiley

Good luck. I know the stores in the bigger city here have a LIVING WELL sign posted, if I remember correctly. This was last year, so I'm not sure what I remembered.

Have a good night. smiling smiley
I never did find a Living Well department. The mystery continues. Canuck, I actually had six stores total. Three I was able to self assign and three the scheduler assigned to me. I'm either special, or there aren't too many shoppers in my area. (I think it's the latter smiling smiley )
Living Well = vitamins, products that are good for health. I see vitamins in the aisles, but no department just for that, so...it doesn't exist.

Ok. You self assigned three and a scheduler assigned you three. Got it. smiling smiley

Maybe it is a trick. No such department, so if you claim to have visited it, your shop is rejected?

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
It is not a trick. I've seen them but in bigger cities around me. The sign is large and over the department, here anyway.
like albertson's.

grew up with them.

So Cal, in 'Winter,' they made the
BEST bread pudding!

In Denver, they look at me,
really? Albertson's made that?

Most of them closed in the last
few yrs.. maybe WM competition?

I like them a lot, esp when they
had the $1.99/6pk FAT BOY
ice cream on a stick today smiling smiley

Their dollar deals are great..
I try to buy extra for a few of the
people I do home health for.
They don't have a lot of money.
Well? I've been doing more and more of these because no one wants to do them, which is great! I emailed the schedule and it's a go!

I have experienced a Living Well department.

It has a big sign with LIVING WELL written on it above the department. It's usually near the Pharmacy. You can't miss it. The department's full of organic products and vitamins and herbs. You cannot miss it.

There you go! I knew there was one in the big city here. I remember doing it last year for another MSC.

Canuck, please don't remind me. We had an Albertson's within walking distance of our house. We knew the employees. We loved the store and we were loyal customers. Then, in 2012, Albertson's closed all but one (I think) of their Florida stores. We just recently stopped grieving their demise. So sad.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
Oh no!! They bought the big chain grocer here but kept the old name. A few changes. Sorry for your loss. sad smiley
(smile) Thank you. Well, we're getting by with Publix and Winn Dixie (the site of the out-of-stock nightmare audit that has scarred me for life), but it's just not the same, Canuck. So sad. sad smiley

I've always heard great things about Albertsons. My wish has come true.

Oops..sorry to mention that.

See ya!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email me the name of the MSC that does Albertsons. (Is that allowed here?) I LOVE that store.

Thank you.
I won't tell you. It's against the contract I've signed and against the forum rules here.

So, register away, Linda. You'll find it. Funny thing is, I'm sure someone will PM you. I'm sure there's a lot that goes behind the scenes here that we don't know about.

Good luck.
