TELUS phone calls

Did any one else do these? I am finding them difficult.

I can't get over that I'm to call the same phone number 5 times and ask the same question and use my account number each time. I called the helpdesk twice to be sure and yes, I must give my account number.

I get that I will likely reach a different employee each time, but won't it show up that I've been calling every day this week?

Two, just veered completely off the script so the report was difficult to fill in. Any way 4 down, 1 to go. Just wondered if it's just me or if others had any issues.

I can't be bothered with shops like this. Sounds like too much trouble.

I wish you the best though. Finish them and decide if you want to do them again.
It just feels a little uncomfortable. Now, if they all get accepted I'll want to do them again as they pay $15 each!
I did one and cancelled the rest I had. It was awkward at best. The agent was making notes in my account. The conversation was unsatisfactory and I was in no hurry to repeat the experience although the pay was, indeed, very nice. smiling smiley
It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who finds it awkward. smiling smiley

Now to finish this last call.
It is awkward for some but they are really easy overall. Depending on your provider, there are usually two phone numbers to call. If a rep asks why I called before, I just make an excuse like, "oh I thought the previous rep wasn't giving correct info or I'm indecisive" Quite a few you could make up. I did not have one rep mention anything but I am with Bell. If you have any Q's, want more tips, you can PM CSchedules.

dixiewhiskey these particular calls required me to use my account number. One of the employees referred to one of my earlier calls.

I assume all of them could see that I was making repeated calls asking the same question. I only had a choice of asking one question.

My husband suggested the same thing you did, to say I didn't think I got the right info from the other person I spoke to.

Any way I'm done, it will be hard to turn them down since they paid better than any other phone call I've made before.
Well that's the point about giving the account or telephone number.. Or else anyone could call any provider right? I think TELUS ones are harder than other providers because they seem to keep notes especially if you ask for a second person. I've done work in retail in different areas for almost ten years and have seen customers call or come stores about the same issue so while it's uncomfortable for us doing shops, it's not completely uncommon. But yeah after doing 8 of these shops, I stopped. Just seemed tedious after awhile.. I got an e-mail today that they are paying $20 now. Wish I was a TELUS customer.. Haha.

So does the shop require that you have to call 5 different times? Or did you just pick up 5 different shops?

It was five different shops. But, they are all to the same phone number, the phone number on my bill. And they all are to ask the same question.

I reached a different employee each time I called. But their notes show that I've already called. So, it feels odd. As DixieWhiskie has said real customers call again about the same thing.
