Boot Barn Shops - Highly Recommended!

Sounds like a great shop to do before the holidays - stock up on some gifts. I saw these shops on the board and did not need boots but noticed that they were grabbed up quickly. Now I know why, thx for the heads up. : )...

Love this shop! It used to be with a different MSC--higher fee, lower reimbursement, and I did it regularly for years. In any event, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no narrative at all.

I have done 4 Boot Barns. I really enjoy them! But I did not have to give out personal information.

I notice you said the salesman left you alone after the fitting and you walked the store. So, the salesman did not show you inserts, polish, accessories and sale items?

(correct me if I am wrong)

Every store I've done, the salesperson showed me the entire store, with all the cool stuff smiling smiley I know the client wants the associate to show you more than just shoes/boots, if you are lucky to have that kind of salesperson...

Just wondering...smiling smiley
Sunny, I have never had that type of service from a Boot Barn employee. They are always helpful within the boot department, but I have never been shown around, nor have I been offered complementary items or accessories.

I think in their training they are supposed to upsell other items. I say this because of the question about what type of accessories were shown to you?

I had one salesman, he DROVE me up the wall, because he showed me wayyyyy too many things. I called it "overload" and I just wanted to be left alone to shop (after all the required fitting/trying on of boots) . He did have some special button he was wearing, where he was (I guess) the salesman who sold the most boots in a year.
I love this shop! Very easy, quick, and a great product. Too bad there's only one location in my area. sad smiley
Finished my Boot Barn today! It was fun especially if you are a cowgirl or cowboy. I was actually in that store for over 30 minutes browsing and trying on a pair of boots. Ended up with some cute socks and a gag gift for the holidays. Thanks for the heads up Bill B... : )
I just did my second shop for Boot Barn with the new MSC. It sees they have gotten word that the shops are well liked, because the shop fee was reduced by about 30%. At least the reimbursement remains generous.
