I've got a Rogers and Petro tomorrow too (shop, not an audit). I see you picked up a lot of audits; how quick can you do them?
Working on a Saturday - gotta love it! A couple of tobacco compliance shops, a bank, a big box, and a small audit.

Somewhere in the Midwest, shopping / auditing full time since 2014. Will use PV-500 for food! smiling smiley

Oooooh lucky you (gas shop)! I usually don't so many but MSC wanted one person to do what was left in the city. My plan is to try to do 4-5 a day. The 16 I have left are all morning visits only. Hopefully I will be done by Friday but there is really no rush either..

What do you have to do with your gas shop? I haven't done the shop for Petro in over a year. Didn't think they were still shopped!

I onld had one shop today. Got $20.00 and a free oil change & tire rotation. Now my truck is ready for the weeks ahead full of Five Guys, hotels, grocery stores, gift shops, a couple of fine dining, and a tax return shop, and I am going to kick back and watch football the rest of the day! Enjoy whatever you do!

Just need to buy fuel, pay inside and note if they ask for Petro points card or offer add-ons. If there's a car wash you need to buy a basic wash, but don't have to use it then or evaluate the car wash. Easy-peasy. I'm surprised you don't see them out your way, there are 6-8 every month here. Do you see Husky shops? It's basically the same as those.
There is only one Husky around, may be others but I am unsure.

I find it funny Petro shops are still done! Every one I go to asks if I want all the add ons, points card even when I am buying something small. I don't think I've been to a location that has forgot to ask! smiling smiley I think the ones I used to do are for a different MSC. I do the tobacco compliance shops but not sure if I will continue and just give them to someone who smokes or stop altogether. I quit smoking six days ago.

Another route tomorrow... shipping some gifts, thinking about a new bank account, shopping for a couple of new cars, looking at some electronics, and checking into a hotel smiling smiley. Should be a fun one.

More gas & lottery tickets tomorrow.

Dixie, I'd be shocked if you weren't signed up the MSC that does Petro. Each station here seems to show up only every 3 or 4 months and they disappear pretty quick in my area so they're hard to get. I usually stumble upon them randomly, there's not even a pattern as to when they're posted. Pay is normally $2.50 (yuck) but $10 fuel reimbursement and a car wash if available, which I've never used. I find them worth it, but a lot of people wouldn't. The report is pretty easy. Does that sound like what you used to do? I can't comment on who they were with a year ago, because I haven't been around that long.

Do the tobacco compliance have an age limit? I seem to recall only seeing ones where the adult shopper needs to bring a 17-year old along to try and buy cigarettes. Or do you just need to look young?
The Petro fee doesn't seem worth it plus I do a lot of audits in my area anyway. I prefer the employees see me as an occasional auditor than a shopper. I don't know if you remember but I told you about how Macs employees review the video, there is a location in Toronto that actually posts photos of shoppers in their office.. that is what I would like to avoid. tongue sticking out smiley I like doing the other gas shops too.. there is one that is $22 flat, $25 flat fee and come out every quarter. Do you do those? We just bought a fuel efficient car so I usually can only do one or two of those shops and then the tank is full. I use my Father's car now and he is very thankful :-)

There are different MSCs that do smoke compliance.. there is one you mentioned where you have to have a young sibling or friend who is 15-17 years of age and two different ones where you have to be 19-25. The two where you have to be 19-25, you just need to be within that age range. That is why I feel unsure of whether I want to keep doing them as I won't be in this age range for much longer.

As for shops today, I did some audits and am squeezing in another Rogers before my workout. PC Financial and more Petro audits tomorrow.

Starting off slow this year because my regular job is keeping me very busy. Heading to the hardware store today to check out the plumbing section.
Today is mailing some items and a big box. Pretty easy day.

I just got back from doing a bonused HVAC shop in addition to the other shops I had to do today. I feel that it was too easy for $70. Waiting for the catch... tongue sticking out smiley

Is shopping slow for the regulars this week?

Yes. I looked at a VERY nice 3 bedroom bungalow yesterday at half a million and today I'm looking at a much larger 5 bedroom at $700k.

Wow that sounds like a steal.. There are 1-2 bedrooms going for $1 mil here :/ Have fun!

For me this week? Two pizza places, clothing store, Ford dealership, grocery store, restaurant audit, apartment shop and ten foreclosure home web/phone shops. Tomorrow finish up the phone calls and one HVAC center.
For the rest of the week:
9 gas station audits
1 gas station shop
2 cable shops
possibly grocery store and coffee shops.

Don't usually work over the weekend, but a migraine derailed my Monday and Tuesday so I'm playing catch up.

The stations I audited today.. Their pipes were frozen. Lost a lot of car wash sales! Hope you didn't freeze too much!

Looking at possibly 4-6 new home shops next week.

Tomorrow, I have one jewelry shop :-)

Already did my GNC audit and my favorite grocery store shop. Dinner at 5 Guys tonight.

BTW, the GNC audit was the same store where I did my very first audit (it was only my 3rd shop over all). I was so hoping they would do really well on that first audit and was disappointed to report they did not. They did much better today. Not one expired product was found and the employee was in uniform. I guess they paid attention to that first report!
