Everything I need to know I learned from reading the forum

I know I have led a sheltered life. Being a mystery shopper has taught me how to tell a convincing cover store (aka lie) and also be a much better consumer.
However, I have learned plenty more from the forum. Just today I read that nice hotels in NYC have prostitutes hanging around. And an idea for getting upgraded to first class on flights.

From my shops I learned how to react quickly when being chased by a horny goat, how to entertain police officers when I fall into puddles, I learned what to do when finding dead bodies in the shrubbery and also how to fend off a 6'8" drag queen who's trying to hit on my husband. Hopefully these and then some help a newbie shopper just starting out.

I learned how to get a question answered quickly when I don't have time to wait on a response from a scheduler.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Man! I want to live your life. Mine's boring compared to yours.

Yes, a man was laying dead in the bushes when I was doing a gas station shop once. The location manager knew and said that "corporate said not to get involved". MULE FRITTERS! I got involved and called 911 immediately. Tough noogies if the manager didn't like it.

Hey Lucy,

What thread was the first class upgrade discussion in? I missed that one!
I learnt that:

"catfish" can mean something other than a gilled animal swimming about.

"banos" means restroom (I believe that is the spelling).

Do not eat those things that are on those heated rollers at gas stations (see above if you do so).

Hookers are in gas station restrooms.

Tie up the plastic bag of your purchase of tampons from the Walgreens.

Policemen like to flirt and can be personable.

To save battery power, keep your camera next to your body when it is cold (I keep mine in my bra).

PBR is a hipster beer.

Some guys like gals in Carhardts (spelling??).

Some guys like gals who eat pork rinds.

The best sweet corn I have ever had comes from an honour farmstand in Northern Illinois.

Do not say "I don't care who wins" when the Packers play the Bears (and do not say, "how many runs are they ahead?" during the game. This is when one is doing shops in Wisconsin or Illinois. Don't even say anything.

How?

Regarding the upgrades a poster who has MS said she gave the gate agent the candy she got from a mystery shop and when she got to the gate she was upgraded to 1st class. I am gonna research this idea some more. When I fly I always wonder how all the average looking Joes are in first class.
