Grocery Pricing Audit

Anybody have any tips on this type of audit (the 100 items price audit) ? I just picked up two locally (big box stores so being observed will not be an issue) and I don't expect they will be difficult but it always pays to ask.

I like to browse big box stores so I don't mind spending some time in them to accomplish the task.

I'd like to hear the answer to this question as well.
I saw a price audit for an HH-GREG a while back and just laughed.

This is big box appliance type store where the salespeople are on commission and are all over you the minute you walk in the door with a wide open floor plan and at times a ratio of more employees than customers.
I did one of these shops and vowed to never do it again unless highly bonused. It took longer than I expected and totally wasn't worth the pay. My only advice would be to have a good awareness of the store layout before conducting the shop or at least have a store map on-hand.

I did a brand compliance audit for HH Gregg. Walked in, gave the cashier the letter, and did my thing. The employees were very helpful, but it probably helped that it was on a Monday morning and there was only one other customer in the store.

The audit I was doing was a competitive audit.
They would have tossed me out of the store long before I got all the prices recorded.
I have been doing the competitive grocery audits weekly lately. They are not so intimidating if you know the layout and keep notes for future audits. I don't do them without a good bonus because they take up a good portion of time. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.
I did a competitive price audit through a smartphone MSC. Got thrown out 3/4 way through the audit (it was a small grocery store chain based in Germany, if you get my drift), the MSC still paid the full fee.

Small grocery chain? If you mean Aldi and Trader Joe's, both are in the same caliber size as Walmart and are global discount supermarkets owned by the two richest brothers in Germany. Their main rival Lidl, is another global supermarket of the same caliber. Usually TJ workers do not say anything but the others are more aggressive to kick people out if they are checking prices.

Okay right you are. I am fully aware of Albrect brothers. I should have stated "small size store". It is not easy to do a grocery audit in such a small store.
