Lol I think I have an idea which MSC BillBryaninCarthage is talking about. I recall recent posts of him talk about a particular MSC and "gas station" shops he performed for them.

I won't name the MSC just in case I'm wrong. tongue sticking out smiley

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.

I think he's talking about the company that also has a merchandising division. Could be wrong though.

There is no way that any Mystery Shopping Company would treat me in such an unprofessional manner that I would work for them. BUT! I would speak with a top executives before I made any decisions based on a scheduler or editors comments.
Exactly. Two years ago, I told two companies to take a hike. I didn't like how they treated me, like I was some kind of a moron. They were rude, unprofessional and lost a very good shopper.

They're threatening me with deactivation a 2nd time for things from over 3 months ago. I think they just want to get the folks who know how to work them a bit out the door so they can try an get newbies in to ride.
The editors and "help desk" staff at MarketForce seem to have a great deal of individual latitude in interpreting reports and deciding the end result. If you feel that you are wronged, request a review by a verified manager.
The end may be coming for me, too. A few years ago I stopped getting a ff shop after I argued with them over one. Two months ago I lost another ff shop. I think it was because even though I did a lot of them, I held out for bonuses. It's probably a good thing for my waistline, lol!

NOTE: I'm not on the forum every day. If someone comments on my post, I might not reply right away. I've been a shopper since 1991. I've never done any work for a MS company in any other capacity.

I agree with you weatherman. In Nov. I earned 2700 and Dec. 2500 from this MSC. I had a 2k+ month in Sept. And of those fees less than 150 each month was reimbursements, since I only bought packs of $0.38 gum. I got so experienced on the gas audits that I could do one in 15 minutes and report it in 35 minutes or so. I did 8 of them in one day, all of them at $35, and almost made $300 that day.

They don't want shoppers that know how to get the bonuses. They want new shoppers because they will work for less or perhaps because they want a typical customer's opinion. When you make too much at this MSC you are outting yourself as a professional shopper and now I think they want to throw experience out with the bath water in my case.

Glad I listened to others here and joined other companies. I can see now that I was too dependent on one MSC but I'm glad I got their money.

As we are independent contractors, no MSC needs to make up a reason to get rid of any of us. If they want us out the door, we will be out the door.
