I am new at this but need this to work out reaaly well. Do you have any sugestions I am in Minnesota. theresa
1. Open a separate email account for MSing only.

2. Open a PayPal account using that email address.

3. Write a few paragraphs about your best and worst shopping experience. Edit them for spelling and grammar errors. Save them on Word, your going to need them for #6.

4. Buy a big desk calendar and make sure your printer has plenty of ink.

5. Go to Volition.com and find the Mystery Shopping Companies list A - Z.

6. Register, register, register!. Try to sign up with at least five companies a day until you reach a 100 companies.

7. Check your email daily for job offers and check the job boards for the companies you have already signed with.

8. Don't pay anyone to help you with this because you will still have to register with all these companies to work for them and registering is free.

9. Don't expect any income for about a month once you start working. Other than a few exceptions, most companies pay 30 to 60 days after the work is completed.

10. Don't invest any more money on a job than you can afford to lose.

11. Keep copies of all your receipts, even the ones you mail in.

12. Keep accurate records of your mileage or any supplies you buy to help you stay organized.

13. If you agree to do a job, do it. Schedulers ignore shoppers who don't follow through.

14. Spell check everything you write and if your grammar is bad, use Word to write your reports so you can edit them, then copy and paste. Companies do not like shoppers who can't spell or articulate well

15. Good Luck!

where are you in MN? I'm Western WI and see jobs for Rochester and the Cities, but is too far for me to go. I could direct you to some of those companies.
I am also in Minnesota but in a rural area. I do get a lot of shops every month but I do have to travel a lot. I am also close enough that I can do some shops in Iowa and South Dakota. I usually drive about 300 to 400 miles a day and go out about five days a week. I can cover a big area in Minnesota in a week. What part of Minnesota are you in? I know there are a lot of jobs around the cities area. There are also a lot of them North of the cities that are still on the schedules at the end of each month.
