Best Mark new car shops.....

Anyone do these? I needed to take on more "no out of pocket jobs" this month due to paying $5,000 for our Disney trip in a little over two months....
What did I get myself into?!?!?!
Do they really want a huge amount of narrative for ALL of the sections? Or just a sentence or two comment?
Only $17 pay for this much typing is NOT worth it.

I have two more scheduled and I am dreading them.

I did one shop for them long ago, it was an oil change. I knew that unless my situation hits rock bottom I would Never do a shop for them again. I couldn't believe what they wanted.
If you want to do car shops check out Monterey. They pay $30. Also, you can often get bonuses with Intellishop in which the shop will pay $30 or more. Some shoppers don't like Intellishop because of the tough editors. The grades that I get om them don't bother me as long as I get paid.
I have done shops for Monterrey and Intelli-shop but there were about 5 very close to my house with Best Mark I thought it would be nice.... ummmmmm NOT so nice.
I cut my car shop teeth on Best Mark. Yes, they are narrative heavy, but they provide excellent examples of what they're looking for. Two sentences, sometimes three for each comment box.
I don't do them any more for $17. They are good at working with requests for route bonuses on the new car shops, and they have an easy to use travel/distance pay feature built into their job search for some hefty bonuses on hard-to-fill service shops.
Good support, too.
I have actually never shopped for Monterey, and I *love* auto. Thanks for the heads up! :]

I will do a Bestmark auto shop on occasion. On the one hand, the form is a little annoying, on the other hand, the clear requirements make it really easy to cover required narrative. I think the reason I actually get good grades from Intellishop is thanks to the practice on good auto narrative I got from Bestmark.

Somewhere in the Midwest, shopping / auditing full time since 2014. Will use PV-500 for food! smiling smiley
At least for the oil change shops, they ask you a bunch of questions where it's multiple choice - easy.
They then want a narrative. All you have to do is basically summarize what was asked about in the multiple choice questions, perhaps in a few places stating something specific depending on what they ask.

I have never done their new car shops but I've done a bunch of their oil change shops. At first it seemed daunting but you get used to it. I don't mind doing them at all.

Best Mark car shops can be very short for the actual shop since you don't usually have to do a test drive. The reports are long. In my area you can usually get a route of several shops, but again, the reports are long. They usually add in travel cash if you are driving far enough to that helps. I use them as fill-in shops sometimes. I like Monterey shops because you generally get to drive some really nice high end cars smiling smiley and the pay is better and report is shorter but the shop itself takes longer.
Best Mark had a burger joint but one by one the locations went out of business. I see the shop infrequently but it is usually taken by the time I get there.

I do not own a General Motors car and I do not need to borrow a car to do an oil change shop for the fee they offer.

I do not care how editors grade me as long as they pay me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some editors love me especially when I take their intercity assignments when they are flaked by shoppers who did a drive by and kept on going.

pay is wayyyyyyyyyyyy too low for expectations-esp from intellishop

I only do IS car shops when they're bonused to $60+. Monteray I'll do for like $45-50. Best mark hasn't seen any business from me in nearly two years.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
Bestmark auto shops were the first shops I did when I started two years ago. They are fillers for me on a route, although, I prefer to NOT do them and I do not ever see them bonused in so.cal.
Bestmark vs. Intelli-...about the same, however, no test drive means I am outta there 15-20 minutes sooner. I hate test drives...I drive all day...
