AustinMom, you said "we are agreeing not to divulge the names of their clients"....the companies themselves reveal who their clients are, when they post the jobs.
It doesn't matter what the companies do themselves. However, generally, when the companies post their jobs, the jobs are available only on their job board visible only to those who have registered with them and signed an ICA. Or, they are e-mailed to registered shoppers, who, once again, have signed their ICA. If you look at the public job board here on our forum, most companies do not post the names of their clients. Some do post the names of clients on Facebook and other places and that would be their choice and would have nothing to do with the agreements they require their shoppers to sign.
The important point here is that, regardless of how the companies choose to market their clients, when a shopper signs their ICA, the shopper has entered into a legally-binding agreement with the company. And, aside from any ICAs, the guidelines of our forum prohibit revealing the clients of mystery shopping companies.
