Any sandwich, fries and drink. You have to pause after the sandwich to see if you're offered the fries and drink. Also a milkshake if the location has them.

You order two items, sandwich and fries or sandwich and drink, then wait to see if they offer the 3rd item. Accept the third item.
Here, we don't have to order a sandwich, as "bunless" burger bowls or hotdog options are OK. Any entree is acceptable, plus fries and a drink, with one being ordered and the other being an upsell (hopefully).

Are you allowed to PM me to tell me the MSC currently doing these? I want to make sure that I'm signed up with them. If it's not allowed, please just disregard this message. I don't want to get anyone in trouble!
Sorry - it is not allowed. The ICA says that you can't share client and MSC. Good luck - I hope you find them.

Why are you not allowed to tell which companies you're MS for? We come from all over the country and Canada.
Just Google Mystery Shops 5 Guys. You can do that for ANY Mystery Shops, to find out which company they use. Search, Mystery Shops (name of business).
Call in order: Order only the burger, wait for offer of fries or drink

In person order: Order burger, and either fries or a drink (not both) and WAIT to see if they offer one.

Online order: Order everything. You can't upsell to a computer smiling smiley

Some name-calling going on here that appears to be unnecessary to me. There's no reason to call a new poster names or say he is a trouble-maker because he asks a question. It's much more welcoming to our new members if we answer the question. If a poster annoyed by the question, he can ignore it and allow someone else to answer.

The answer to the question is that we sign Independent Contractor Agreements (ICA) when we register with companies. Almost 100% have confidentiality clauses in these agreements. Most of the confidentiality clauses state that we are agreeing not to divulge the names of their clients or any proprietary information to anyone. In addition, the guidelines of our forum say that we will not reveal the names of clients of mystery shopping companies.
AustinMom, you said "we are agreeing not to divulge the names of their clients"....the companies themselves reveal who their clients are, when they post the jobs.

It doesn't matter what the companies do themselves. However, generally, when the companies post their jobs, the jobs are available only on their job board visible only to those who have registered with them and signed an ICA. Or, they are e-mailed to registered shoppers, who, once again, have signed their ICA. If you look at the public job board here on our forum, most companies do not post the names of their clients. Some do post the names of clients on Facebook and other places and that would be their choice and would have nothing to do with the agreements they require their shoppers to sign.

The important point here is that, regardless of how the companies choose to market their clients, when a shopper signs their ICA, the shopper has entered into a legally-binding agreement with the company. And, aside from any ICAs, the guidelines of our forum prohibit revealing the clients of mystery shopping companies.
What you need to order depends on the shop, I have had burger required and others say order anything.
I just signed myself up for a couple of 5 guys in at the end of the week. I'll see how they go. The food had better be really good for the amount that they are paying for the shop.
I had a shop with 5 Guys last night. I had to go there 15-30 minutes before closing. I rushed out of the house at 9:20 pm. I got there and realized I left my wallet at home. The good thing, I can reschedule the shop for next week. I wasn't hungry anyway. So it all worked out. smiling smiley
I have to apologize for my name calling. I was incredibly frustrated about something unrelated and there was no reason for it. It is not my character and I am very embarrassed. Please erase the chalkboard.
I can't wait until the local Five Guys gets shakes...I want to try the chocolate bacon milkshake.

If anything, you should try the Salt Caramel one with bacon. It mixed sweet, salty and fatty just enough to make it one of the best shakes in their selection!

We all have our good days and bad days.

I was so excited when I saw the milkshake reimbursement listed at the one closest to me. Unfortunately, the local franchise here isn't going to be doing shakes. They don't feel it's going to be a cost-effective move. T_T
I'm actually glad the Five Guys I regularly shop don't offer malts. I have no willpower, so by time I eat all the hamburger and all the fries I've blown my diet for the whole day.

I had some bacon left over the other day from breakfast so I made one of those at home. Split it with my 10 y o nephew.
Salted caramel, chocolate bacon milkshake? That's what I always figured heaven would be.

Not to change the subject but ARRRRGHHH, I AM AN IDIOT! I didn't read the guidelines so I did not do the shop correctly. I was supposed to do an online shop. I have learned my lesson!
Yes, with Five Guys, you really have to read each one. Today I had to be sure it was not the telephone order one. They have different types of orders.

I've learned my lesson to re-read each Guideline for every shop, even if the same nature. They are very tricky sometimes.
The one in my area doesn't have milkshakes. And they don't have one of those fancy Coke machines that have like 1,000 different flavor combinations. There was a Five Guys just down the road from me that did have the great Coke machine. They were always busy and I always gave them glowing reviews...but they closed. I was surprised, given the busyness of the location, but had heard employees were stealing.
Still waiting for milkshakes to appear at any of the Five Guys in my area. We do have the fancy Coke machines, however. But I'm a creature of habit, so no matter how many flavor combinations are available I always get the same beverage....lemonade. Getting hungry thinking about a chocolate bacon milkshake. Good thing it's bed time!
So I just activated my 5% cash back bonus on my credit card for the next quarter.

The main category is restaurants, including Five Guys and a bunch of the other places I shop.

Goodbye, waistline. It was nice knowing you.
