Hot and Spicy Chicken Sandwich now allowed...

A certain BIG mystery shopping company has now allowed the Hot and Spicy Chicken Sandwich at a certain big chain fast food restaurant. (I did a search in here to see if I could find the other thread about this sandwich..)

Am I wrong but wasn't this not allowed? Or am I thinking of another spicy chicken sandwich?

Not sure how to ask this without mentioning either the client or the MSC.

So, I guess I am wondering, wasn't there a ban of spicy chicken sandwiches? smiling smiley

I seem to remember seeing a NOT allowed notification and now a NOW allowed note. I won't order it anyway, but I did see the change and thought maybe I had misread it the first time. NOT...NOW?

I'd sad that the Southern Style Chicken sandwich is not allowed anymore. That was my favorite.
It says: "Hot and Spicy Chicken is NOW a VALID menu item. Some locations carry the regular --chicken or the hot and spicy, look at menu board to know which one they have." [end]

If this is the same sandwich as mentioned here a few weeks ago, how weird! I don't order it anyway but just wondered if you guys are thinking of the same sandwich I am thinking about.... smiling smiley
This is why you are supposed to review your guidelines every time. I wish clients would change requirements more often.

The MSC released an email providing this update.

I agree with your isaiah58. I'm sure it's not just me, but we sometimes get comfortable because we've done the same assignment over and over again.

It's a good reminder to always review the guidelines every round, and at least, skim through to assure there isn't an exception to a specific location.

Tarantado,

I discovered that some stores prep their employees to look for possible shoppers, rather than just train them properly. McDonalds shops have been too consistent, what we can order needs to change unless the client wants it to be easier to identify us. Some of the grocery shops need to drop the required customer service visit. I'm sure there are plenty of other shop types that need to change up more often.

I heard on the radio that McD's is considering serving breakfast all day. They are test-marketing it in select San Diego stores. I wonder how this will affect the shops.

I doubt they'll change up their order requirements much from this.

I mean, look at Sonic's and Jack in the Box; they both sell breakfast all day. From my experiences with them, I was only able to order breakfast during "breakfast hours" in my past shops with them.

They say McD's is in a slump. They need to get with it, because even Taco Bell has breakfast and yes, I did try the waffle sandwich...(forget the exact name but it was good!)

They have had 10:30 breakfast cut offs for over 40 years and it's time for a changesmiling smiley

They're in a slump, yet they're still the #1 fast food chain in the world lol.

But agreed. The locations out here are finally getting with the program and serving breakfast after midnight. There's nothing better than fast food breakfast after a night out at the bars.... Well, maybe except a gyro bowl or a breakfast burrito! grinning smiley

I actually do their shops because I love the Qtr Pounder with Cheese smiling smiley So, when they say MC'D's is suffering... I wonder if that will trickle down into the mystery shopping program? ["crosses fingers that it doesn't"...]

They don't even have it on the menu anymore - at least where I live. So sad.

I was called and offered enough bonus to shop a green grocery at the end of the month in a not so nice area of town. I saved the service desk for last as there was a scenario to play out there and figured the shop would be outed the instant I did this department.

I was shocked that this was the only department of the whole shop where they basically ignored me and my required complaint. I did this same scenario at other locations and they bent over backwards to offer to replace or credit me for the complaint. This department is not infallible and needed the shop at this location.
