Thank you for this great information. I will try keep my gas fume breathing to
a minimum as I drive another 50k+ miles this year. I think I will make sure my
next vehicle has an air filter in it to combat this.

That's it. Shut it down. It's over, people. No more forum. We had a good run.

If there's a point in here somewhere, I'm missing it.

Guess I'm not smart enough to get it.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Give it a few minutes. Judging by her posting history, I'm sure she'll be deleting this one soon, too.

If the employee was truly "smart," he would merely perform his job like he is supposed to. If he has time to research who the msc is, and then gets a friend to sign up with them on the off-chance that he might get shopped, well, he doesn't seem very smart.
Melanie, FYI: You can basically type anything related to mystery shopping and chances are that our posts come up on search. They have for me. My own posts.

I am only speaking for me when I say I prefer PM'ing for many things, because employers, employees and scammers read this site too. I do agree that "how badly" they want the information, they will get it and join this site. Or worse, you have the trolls who care NOT about this industry, because they have been slighted in some way, by doing poorly on a shop and get axed. They read this forum too.... They want to bring down the names of all mystery shopping companies they felt did them wrong.

Everything we write here is "forever" imprinted. Just like every "drunk-passed-out-picture" a girl posts on facebook of her "face kissing the sidewalk"... that is forever, in infamy.

People say every day, "Oh my gosh, they've stolen my identity." I say, what took them so long?? Anything related to the internet can be had, and oftentimes stolen and sold.

That is why I consider emails private. How would you feel if someone you emailed, posted it on here? But still, everything you do on the internet is for EVERYONE to see. (sooner or later).

Like Kevin O' Leary from Shark Tank says, "Before I hire someone, I look on all social sites, forums, anywhere, everywhere, to tell me the CHARACTER of that person, before I hire them. smiling smiley
I checked back on her previous posts and see that she deleted most of them. What's going on Melanie?
The morning after, many people wish to retract what they did or said the night before.

Almost sounds like something Confucious might have said.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I don't understand what "bragging" about mystery shopping has to do with people googling mystery shopper and their company name. Or how being "smart" could prevent it. We don't post names of shopped companies with the mystery shopping company names, so they're not getting the information because of dumb shoppers. I just don't understand what you are trying to say.

FYI

All it takes is one smart employee, when he or she learns their place of employment is being shopped, to do a search for their company name and "mystery shopper." The name of the company comes up, the employee gets a close friend or relative enroll with the company, and they often find out the exact date and specifications of the shop.

I know it happens, because I've seen it.

All it takes is one smart mystery shopper, to realize that this situation is not good for them. Why are so many mystery shoppers NOT smart? I'm thinking they want to brag about their BIG bonuses for out-of-the-way shops that take hours of driving and routes, and of course the positive affirmations of the minions who follow their posts.
And she deleted yet another one. She must drunk text a lot.

I guess I'll add her to the AggiejebashnicbBillBruanFrankTruthJeremyschristy33whyuwannaknow list.
I think if someone repeatedly deletes their posts, they should not be allowed to post anymore. I mean, what's the point?
