HOOTERS: New msc and now you need a partner???

Has the Hooters shop always required bringing along a guest of the opposite sex??
Or is this a new requirement from their new msc???

Many Thanks

If this is the one I've been doing for the last several months, the requirements are different each month. Some months the requirement is for two females, sometimes two males, a single female, a single male, a male and female. They alternate.
I have had to pass 2 times now. The last one was 2 females, this time it says member of the opposite sex. I just don't know anyone that would go in there, except my friend (male) who accompanied me to Hooters about two years ago.

I wish they would allow solo...smiling smiley
my uncle (a former Catholic priest) took his 13 year old son.......you would be surprised who would go....i went to a similar place with my significant other once...
I see they finally closed this place in our area, as the food was going so far downhill they had little to no patrons. They must have left their seafood out again after being warned. A shop report let the MSC know that their seafood was yellow and not because of seasoning. Plus, greasy and limp fries are not appealing, to say the least.

But the Shopper was chastised for giving a bad report then removed from the MSC. The place continued to stay open, I wonder if someone figured it out before someone got deathly ill. It is not worth it to work for MSC's who do not want the truth and jeopardize the health and safety of consumers!
I re-read the post and see it is now with a new MSC. That is good, although it is a bit tougher scheduling shops if you MUST bring another person. It is always nicer if it can be optional, in case your guest is unavailable. Plus unless the reimbursement covers it, and includes a Shopper fee then it might not be worthwhile.

Did anyone watched "Undercover Boss"? I heard the new CEO of this chain is very conscientious and fair minded. I wish their company well.
I thought 'hoots' usually came in pairs.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut

I just finished my first shop tonight so I don't know if this is a new MSC. I was required to bring a guest of the opposite sex. When I reported it, they asked me why I didn't follow the instructions for the scenario. I quoted the scenario back at them. Don't know how they will take it. I wasn't rude, just stated the facts.
Several MSCs do Hooters. The big one changes the scenario here every round. Sometimes it's a male solo, sometimes two females, sometimes, opposite sex, etc.

Those are tough, but at least this time around, I was able to pull my theater audit sidekick gal pal into two shops. There was a third one that has since been taken that was across town the other direction...not sure how I could have recruited for that!
If I must have a partner for a shop, I just post on my facebook wall and have never failed to find someone willing to accompany me for a free meal!

Isn't this the boss that offered to pay for a breast enlargement for one of his young, female employees? I didn't see the show but I read it was a clusterf**k.
newyorkdan1,

I only saw the Fresh Meadows, Queens location shopped. No others, and I believe I saw them after they were newly posted. Maybe this was just a franchise only shop for the above location???
