Maritz picture orientation.

This seems like a question for @techman01.
When I post pictures to Maritz, they show up in the thumbnail correctly oriented. Then, when I submit and the site switches to the next page that shows my uploaded pictures from their end, they're all improperly oriented.
Any idea how I can fix this or if it's even my fault? They're clearly properly oriented when I send them. Something happens either on their end or on the way.

I've never had that happen for Maritz photos. But another MSC that requires pdf files instead of jpg or tif doesn't allow me to change the orientation but the editors have never said anything or taken any points off of my score so I don't sweat it anymore. I used to be a perfection when I first started in this biz but there are too many variables to keep trying to please everyone all the time.

I wish I could say that I didn't care but I got a call from a manager saying that it's causing the editors a ton of extra work. I told her id try a different browser and I did. But to me it looks like it's out of my hands. It happens after it leaves my inter-tube.

Since you do not when the dis-orientation is happening, when are you uploading the pictures? Because you do know the pictures can be uploaded INDIVIDUALLY with each question or/ and at the END when the report is finished? Have you seem a difference when you do it your way?

Some of the MARITZ pro-shoppers would have a better idea of what going on with your pictures.

I don't think I have ever had your problem happen with my pictures.

I always upload at the end. The other way takes forever. I've done hundreds, possibly over a thousand jobs for Maritz. This is a very recent issue.

Are you taking the photos with a phone or a regular digital camera? I have noticed that sometimes the photos I take with my phone end up in different orientations when I transfer them to the computer. I have no idea why.

I'm taking them with my phone. They're fine on the computer AND in the thumbnail when I select them on the Maritz web page. It's only after I submit and the page returns the uploaded pictures that there rotates. If Maritz had a way to edit or rotate like Shopmetrics does after uploading this wouldn't be a problem but they gotta do their own thing. Grrr

You might try E-mailing a few photos to yourself. If they come out correct, at least you establish that it is not happening at your end.

OTOH, if they come back incorrect, perhaps your computer is not saving them after rotation is performed. Then, you might need to review your software.

I have had the same problem. It is not every picture from the job but just a couple. I look at my picture and it is correct but sometime after it leaves my computer it turns up side down.
