There is no real advantage to silver or gold because schedulers really look at your reliability and how well you perform the shop. I had done 100's of shops and then got my silver. It made little difference. As for getting paid more, if you have a relationship with your scheduler she/he might try to get you more for a shop.

There is one company that pays more for gold shoppers, the real advantage I found was in one company that lets gold and silver shoppers see shops a day earlier and another that shows shoppers better shops based on rating.

When I got Gold, I started getting phone calls, referrals, higher than usual bonus offers, and opportunities to self-assign shops that formerly I had to apply for (and never got when I did). I definitely think it made a difference. People who say they get plenty of shops without it can't possibly know what they might be missing.

True. I have seen this in a few of my emails that Silver and Gold get sent the notices first..
