Whats worse than Pappa John's pizza? - Little Caesars Pizza

I guess I'm spoiled. There are 10 or 12 local pizza shop within 2 or 3 miles of me.
Some are better than others but all better than PJ, LC, Pizza Hut et al. And LI pizza is not as good as Brooklyn (#1), Queens or NYC. Must be the water.

I'm fairly certain when people are comparing chain restaurants they are rarely trying to compare them to local locations.

True but why have a lousy pizza, even if you are getting paid, when you can have a great one? I'll take my fee from another shop and buy one I enjoy from my local pizza shop.
Absolutely agree. My point was simply that I don't understand the point of that type of post. You mean your local pizza place owned by genuine Italians has better pizza than any chain out there? OMG COLOR ME SHOCKED!

I do Little Caesar's pizzas all the time. I love their pizzas. I share with my neighbors.
It may shock you more to learn that half the local pizza shops are run by Latinos and not Italians. My point was that no amount of money, well maybe an obscene bonus, would entice me to shop and eat fast food pizza. I happen to like thin crusty well done pizza with plenty of cheese and home made sauce and have no problem finding it from at least one of the 12 or so local shops. However Dominoes, Pizza Hut and Papa John's are around here and remain in business so my taste is not for everyone.
Oh dear. I like Papa John's. Great sauce, chewy crust. Right sauce to cheese to crust ratio for me. Now, the gas station cuisine shops are a different matter. I'll chance the coffee and fountain drinks, but whatever comes off the roller grill goes straight to trash.
I live next door to a local pizza shop that serves Brooklyn style. For me it doesn't have enough sauce or crust and there's way too much cheese. I much prefer PJs, but if you love Brooklyn style I completely understand why papa johns is not for you.
You (any you) actually eat the pizzas? What if you have multiple food shops?

I've done one food shop so far, and that cost me money (reimbursement was lower than the purchase. I like johnb's idea of sharing.

"Brooklyn style" doesn't necessarily mean Brooklyn pizza any more than "Philadelphia style" cheese steak at Subway is a Philadelphia cheese steak. Or do you actually live in Brooklyn Odessa?
LIJake, don't get me started on "Philadelphia Cheesesteaks." I'm originally from Philadelphia. My parents are still there. Green peppers are not standard on our cheesesteaks, and Philadelphians do NOT go to Pat's or Geno's unless we are with tourists who want a selfie.

I don't know why Subway even exists in Philly. The neighborhood hoagies are so much better.

I do Papa John's shops all the time, but rarely eat any of it. I only do them when bonused $15 for the ones close by and $25 for the ones that are a slight distance further. There are three hungry college students that live next door so nothing goes to waste.

It has been years since I worked in a Pizza parlor. I learned the "secret" Use fresh ingredients and watch the pie. (you do not have to open the door and look at it but you must watch the temperature of the oven and the time,). Many of the Pizza joints have gone out of business when the owners died and the kids did not want to flip a pizza. For some reason pizza made at an establishment that was both a bar and restaurant were my favorites.
